1978 Triumph Bonneville

Hi and thanks for looking at my auction! I have a 1978 Triumph Bonneville T140 Oil in Frame for sale. This is my dream project that unfortunately I am finding I do not have the time, and more importantly, money for. I hate to see this bike go but I would rather see it go to a good home then sit as a dream in the corner of the garage. I purchased this bike last summer and the previous owner had already broke it down. I believe it is mostly complete except for it is missing the gas tank. It has a clean and clear South Dakota title and the frame and engine numbers match. The frame is a oil in frame and is nice and straight. The motor turns freely and the previous owner told me the bottom end had been completely gone through and that is was originally broken down 5 years ago because there was a slight oil leak in one of the cylinders and he believed that it needed new pistons and rings. Before this the bike was rode regularly. This would be a great project and fun to ride when completed! Thanks again for looking and please let me know if you have any questions.
