WHAT A CHANCE TO GET A SUPER HARD TO FIND CHARGER. THERE WERE A LOT OF CHARGERS PRODUCED IN 1973 CLOSE TO 120,000 UNITS WHEN YOU INCLUDE EXPORTS. OUT OF THOSE I BELIEVE CLOSE TO 60% WERE THE VERY POPULAR SE (SPECIAL EDITION) CARS. THE RALLYE CHARGER WAS A OPTION ON THE HARDTOP / COUPE CARS. 340 CARS WERE THE MOST POPULAR , 400 BIG BLOCKS HAD THEIR NUMBERS TOO, BUT ONLY 713 RALLYE CHARGERS HARDTOPS ROLLED OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE WITH THE MASSIVE 440 MAGNUM. 727 TORQUEFLIGHT TRANSMISSION. THIS PARTICULAR EXAMPLE IS EVEN MORE RARE WHEN IT WAS FITTED WITH THE FACTORY INSTALLED SUNROOF. NO NUMBERS THAT I KNOW ON HOW MANY RALLYE 440'S HAD THE SUNROOF, BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD PROBABLY LESS THEN 30 JUST FROM A STATISTICAL STANDPOINT.FACTORY TX9 FORMAL BLACK EXTERIOR PAINT, ORDERED WITH A WHITE VINYL CANOPY TOP (NOT THE USUAL BLACK ON BLACK), WHITE BUCKET INTERIOR WITH FLOOR CONSOLE. 14" RALLYE WHEELS AND UPGRADE OPTIONAL RED REFLECTIVE BODYSIDE TAPE STRIPES. THE ORDER SHEET DIDN'T STOP THERE. CHECK OFF FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING, POWER WINDOWS, IN DASH CLOCK, AM/FM STEREO TOO. FRONT POWER DISC BRAKES, POWER STEERING. BRAND NEW CORRECT BODY TAPE STRIPES JUST INSTALLED. THE CAR TODAY IN 2011 HAS SINCE MIGRATED FROM NEW YORK. IT HAS BEEN IN PHOENIX, AZ FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. CURRENTLY IN DRIVER CONDITION. IT HAD BEEN PARKED FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HAS HAD TO HAVE SOME WORK DONE TO FRESH IT UP. IT HAS ONLY HAD ONE REPAINT AND IT IS A BASECOAT / CLEARCOAT BUT IT IS NOT WITHOUT SOME FLAWS. WHEN IT WAS REPAINTED IT WAS NOT AS A RESULT OF A RESTORATION BUT A STANDARD REFURB. BRAND NEW WINDSHIELD! I JUST HAD ALL OF THE BRAKES REPLACED WHICH INCLUDES NEW ROTORS, CALIPERS, BRAKE PADS, BRAKE DRUMS, ALL NEW STEEL LINES (all of them) BRAKE HOSES, MASTER CLYINDER ALL NEW. ALSO NEW U-JOINTS FRONT AND BACK. NEW REAR SHOCKS AND U-BOLTS. HAS A REMAN DISTRIBUTOR, NEW ELECTRONIC IGINITION, NEW COIL, MODULE, BALLAST, PLUGS AND WIRES. NEW HOSES AND BELTS. LOTS OF NEW STUFF UNDER THE HOOD. VINYL TOP HAS BEEN REPLACED IN THE PAST AND HAS SOME SCUFFS ON THE SUNROOF VINYL FROM OPENING AND CLOSING. THE 440 IS NOT THE NUMBERS MATCHING MOTOR. ENGINE DID RECIEVE NEW GASKETS. TRANS HAS ALSO BEEN REPLACED AS WELL. NEW CARPET, NEW DASH CAP, HEADLINER SEEMS CLEAN, NEW PACKAGE TRAY. SIDE MARKERS LIGHTS AND HOOD PINS ARE BRAND NEW. THE HOOD IS NOT ORIGINAL--- IT IS A CUSTOM HOOD FROM A 72 CHARGER THAT WAS DESIGNED TO APPEAR LIKE THE RALLYE. THE ORIGINAL HOOD A PREVIOUS OWNER SOLD OFF THE CAR. AIR CONDITIONING NEEDS TO BE SERIVICED. IT HAS HAD SOME TRUNK PAN PANELS REPLACED, SOME METAL WORK BEHIND THE REAR WHEELS I CAN SEE. SOME FLOOR PAN PATCH PANEL WAS REPLACED BEHIND THE PASSENGER SIDE BUCKET SEAT. SOME METAL WORK AROUND THE SUNROOF OPENING. CHROME TRIM AND BUMPERS ARE ORIGINAL. RH SIDE MIRROR. NEEDS DRIVERS SIDE POWER WINDOW MOTOR. CLOCK IN DASH DOES NOT WORK. FUEL,TEMP AND OIL GUAGES ARE MALFUNCTIONING, POSSIBLE VOLTAGE REG FAILURE. AM/FM STEREO IS MISSING. CAR HAS BEEN SERVICE, MAINTAINED, PARKED HAD VARIOUS REPAIRS OVER THE YEARS ETC. DEFINATELY A CAR THAT DESERVES TO GET THAT SHOWROOM CONCOURS RESTORATION. NICE USED CAR. ALL OF THE NEW ITEMS HAVE ONLY HAD MAYBE 5 MILES ON THEM SO SOME ADJUSTMENTS COULD BE NEEDED. DUAL EXHAUST- BUT IT IS NOT PRETTY. I DO HAVE THE FACTORY BROADCAST SHEET FOUND UNDER THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. IT WAS VERY VERY BRITTLE AND FADED AND IN PIECES, BUT I MANAGE TO SAVE AN PIECE TOGETHER AS BEST I COULD. ALSO FENDER TAG AND VIN ID'S ON CAR ARE ALL THERE. FENDER TAG INFO: (THIS TAG WAS BASIC.
