Up for auction is my 1999.5 Nissan Pathfinder SE Limited 4x4 equipped with a 5-Speed manual transmission and 119,100 miles on the odometer. This truck has all the necessities including: power windows and locks, power and heated mirrors, a CD-Player with Aux-in, ice-cold A/C, factory alarm system, remote keyless entry, ect. It also has a truly awesome 4x4 system which works flawlessly and engages smoothly. This Pathfinder drives very solidly and straight down the rode. Also included is a OEM Nissan Class-III trailer hitch rated for 5000lb and the associated receiver ball. The previous owner installed a JVC CD-Player Headunit with an AUX-in for your iPod, ect. I improved upon this by installing four (4) new Pioneer 6 1/2in speakers and reconnecting the factory tweeters. This system will not blow you away, but the sound quality is very good and full. Huge improvement over stock. Mechanical Condition: The tires are brand new General AT2 all-terrain tires, they're quiet and long-lasting on road but also perform well when the pavement ends (or is covered with snow). The brakes are in good condition and stop well. The transmission shifts smoothly and gets into gear with no grinding or other issues. The clutch grabs well and does not slip. I was told the clutch was replaced at approximately 140k miles. This Pathfinder does not burn a drop of oil in between changes. I just had an alignment performed to make sure the brand new tires wear evenly. I just had a new muffler installed and the oil changed. All of the fluids are at the correct level and in good condition. Cosmetic Condition: The condition is very, very good. The exterior is in great condition with no big dents or scratches. The paint is in surprisingly good condition for its age, leading me to believe it was in a garage-kept for most of its life. There is no visible rust. The wheels are starting to loose their clear coat, as seen in the pictures. The interior is also in great condition. There are some burns on the seats but ABSOLUTELY NO smoke smell is present, something that I'm sensitive to. Otherwise, no issues. Obviously, there's some minor wear and tear evident but the condition is truly above-average for a 12 year old car. Problems: This is a true NO ISSUES NO EXCUSES truck. Their are no intermittent problems or issues that might pop up a week after driving it. There are no emissions problems or fault codes that have been reset. I've been daily driving this truck to work, which, for me, is a 60 mile round trip commute! DO NOT let the miles scare you away, this truck will last for years to come and you would never suspect it has the mileage it does from driving it. The truck drives very well and feels solid and substantial. The handling is very safe and car-like but not at all sloppy. The ride is smooth, comparable to a car but with a lot of suspension travel to soak of the bumps. History: I bought this truck from a friend of mine, who, in turn, had bought it from its original owner about a year prior to me purchasing it. That original owner had a fairly long commute, which is where the majority of the miles came from. Truly highway miles, unlike most sellers claiming their 6-owner high-mileage piece of junk has all "highway miles". In addition, that original owner was extremely conscientious of the maintenance of this truck which is why it drives like a truck with a 1/4 of the miles. I do not have all the records, but I was told they do exist and have been actively trying to procure them from the original owner. But really, the condition speaks for itself. I'm also what some would call a weekend garage warrior, and this truck passes and excedes my personal standards. The truck was bought, serviced, and owned locally in the Philadelphia area which is also where I reside. This is actually my 4th Pathfinder of this generation. I've owned one brand new and bought 3 other used Pathfinders, and can say with some authority that this Pathfinder compares most favorably with my brand new 2001 and not so much the used ones I owned. There are no warranties or guarantees implied or expressed, but I have little doubt the next owner will enjoy years of trouble-free motoring. A deposit, through Paypal, must be made within 24 hours of the auction's completion. Full payment of the balance must be made within 72 hours. Payment must be made using Paypal or by cash in person.
