Up for NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Chevy Blazer 2dr. Even though it looks 4 wheel drive this is a 2x4. This SUV has a 4.3l Vortech chevy V6 and the 4L60E automatic transmission. For those of you that don't know the 4.3 chevy is the same basic motor as the tried an true decades 5.7 liter v8 with two cylinders chopped off, extremely reliable. This SUV was purchased for my son when he was 16 to drive, all he had to do was get a job, license, pay for insurance and gas. Well he is 17 now and he didn't live up to any of those requirements by the date of Jun 1st that I gave him. So now it is up for sale. This is a good looking truck. The interior is super clean no rips or dash cracks or anything like. It is grey in color, with power everything over head console computer, console with buckets. The exterior is black in color. The passenger door has a slight dent in it and a dent above the right rear wheel well. The drivers door has a dent that is lighter then the one on the passenger door right below the lock. Looks like a light surface scratch on the tailgate, I was going to try and buff out but if i don't just know it is there. I don't see any rust. The paint is nice with and shinny with no peeling it does have various chips throughout the truck. It has nice aftermarket wheels with decent tired that are 50-70% all the way around. Please just expect a 12 year old vehicle with a 115k on it win you bid and win this. Not a show truck but average condition. There is a spare tire cover in back but no spare tire. I noticed the rear glass gas shocks did not hold the glass up for long. The engine runs flawlessly, doesn't smoke, knock or seem to use any fluids of any kind. I won't act like I know this vehicle real well, it has gone no where except trips around the block for the past 9 months. I have driven it to work the past few days so I can see if there is anything I can add. Really have only driven it probably 100 miles to over the past year to keep the battery charged and everything up to par. All I can honestly tell you is that in my opinion this is a great truck and needs no major or really even minimal repair. I did notice coming off of exits at highway speed a light pulse in the brake pedal like the rotors may be warped a bit. Stops fine just a pet peeve of mine. I did notice the door pins in the driver door have some play. I will try and drive it as much as i can over the next week and I will update anything I find that I think may bother the new owner Transmission shifts perfect with no slips, shudders or any problems. I see no leaks in the driveway. Really for a 99 it has low miles. They say 12-15k is the yearly average, this should have 150-200k on it. The truck is very peppy! It has a clean and clear Kansas title. It is not in my name but open. I bought it and have been waiting to license it when he got his act together. It is signed by the previous owner and I never put my name, date or price on it. It is open and clear and ready for your name to go on it. This would make a great vehicle for an adult or a teenager THAT ACTUAL WANTS TO DRIVE! This is a great SUV and will make someone a very nice vehicle. I need a $500 deposit within 24 hours and need the balance paid within 7 days of auctions end. I will expect cash, if you pay with a bank check do not expect the title or vehicle until the check is deposited and cleared in my account. Cash is just easier for me. On Jun-13-11 at 16:25:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Here are some other small things I have notice from driving over the weekend. - Passenger side recline lever is broke off seat and sitting in door panel. The other lever that moves the seat for people to get in the back seat still works fine and moves the seat. - At highway speeds I can hear wind noise from around the window. Not bad and no leaks when it rains just an annoyance to me. This may stop when the door pin bushings are repaired which are $5.99 at oreilly's I checked today. -A/C blows cold, but the fan speed on the dash has 4 settings, 1,2, and 3 work when you turn it to 4 it does not. 3 is plenty high and will freeze you out. -At stops/idle I can hear and exhaust rattle of some kind off and on. Maybe a heat shield, the exhaust doesn't leak and seems solid. -The oversized tires rub the inner fender when turned all the way and hit a bump or move the suspension. This should be the last of any updates. I have went over the car pretty well by now. These are all small things and don't affect driveability. It drives nice on the highway and around town. I forgot to mention i had it inspected when i first got it and it needed a right outer tire rod. Had it replaced and alligned afterwards. No check engine lights runs perfectly.
