1956 Mercury Monterey 9 passenger station wagon selling at NO RESERVE! 1956 Mercury was painted back to it's original peacock blue, it had very little rust that was repaired, the floors are very solid, the car was sold new in Ca and remained here, black and yellow plate still with car. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt, the transmission has been upgraded to a C4 and adapted to fit the original engine block, the engine has not been fired. The side faux wood needs to be finished, the plastic trim is fixed and ready to be wood grained, the body side grain needs to be purchased and installed. All of the stainless is repaired and polished, most is on the car just to show it is complete, the remaining is packed in the car ready to install. I have all of the side glass but no windshield, most of the glass is good enough to use. door handles, bumpers, grill, dash parts, taillight housings and lots of misc parts have been rechromed and are ready to install on car. the tail light and back up lenses are NEW and in perfect condition. new rubber has been installed around some of the doors, new window channels have been installed, there is misc new rubber parts that go with the car. The wiring is in the car and has been cleaned and re-wrapped or it is new. I am selling this car due to lack of space and funds. it needs to find a good home. It has had a lot of time and money spent on it and would command a big price when finished!
