Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1965 Buick Wildcat 4 door sedan. This car is a real barn find, a true survivor. Last PA inspected in 1999 this 79k mile cat was found by a buddy of mine tucked away in a local garage, we purchased it with the intention of pulling the low mile Nailhead / TH400 combo for my 30 sedan and sending the rest to the crusher. With the price of steel up we thought it was a good plan. But the more I looked into it the harder I found it to strip this car and send it to the crusher. After a decent bath to wash away all the dust I found some great chrome and trim on this car. The body has a fair amount of East Coast rot in the lower quarters and fenders and the car has been repainted, good old Earl Schieb single stage. But this car is fairly rare, only 9765 Wildcat Deluxe Series 4 dr sedans were produced and I can't imagine that many have survived. This car is loaded with power everything, add-on AC, FM stereo, and even power seats. The car has a fair amount of 11 year old gas in it which I didn't remove yet and I think the points need to be cleaned, because she cranked real smooth but she wouldn't fire up on starting fluid. So my plan is low-reserve to try and give this cat a second chance with someone who needs her more than me. If not I will yank the nailhead and cash in on her enormous weight. This is a cool car, think about it, there isn't a single piece on her that says made in China. The chrome trim and detail that went into this ride just screamed Made in the USA, something that people were actually proud of back then. The only thing Green about this car in 1965 was the envy from people who couldn't afford one, it was Big, Heavy, Powerful, and Chromed out. Now we want hybrids and soon we'll have car shows full of prius's....ugh So if you need this car to restore yours or if you want to just fix her up and cruise it, it's priced to go, I just didn't want to be the one to put this cat down . I have shipped many vehicles with Uship.com they are the best bang for the buck. Email me I can help get it to you as long as your paying the freight. Thanks for Looking. On Jun-07-11 at 13:02:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Been getting alot of questions so just an update: the Car is an A-Title, this was picked up from the original owner. I'm sorry I didn't show the condition of the seats they are split at some of the seams, they just dried out I guess. There is a small crack in the corner of the windshield. I am going to put a fresh set of points in it and try to get her started, it cranks smooth and free. If you live anywhere near Morton, PA 19070 and want to take a look, email me.
