Super LOW Reserve Up for auction is a 1970 Ford Torino Brougham. This car is a great running and driving vehicle. This car is truly a grandma car, that was used as a daily driver of and on all its life. This car originally came from Massachusetts (SEE WINDOW STICKER ) & was driven to And then to FL, where she retired. The car handles and runs perfectly. This car drives down the highway at 65 mph smoothly. As you can see by the pictures, the body is in very nice condition with some dings here and there (HEY IT WAS GRANDMA’S CAR). This is an original 40k car and is very clean. The wood grain on the lower dash & THE DASH is in very nice condition as is the original vinyl top. Please look closely at the pics.. not a bump or split on or under the top…. Very very nice.. The motor is an original 1970 ford 302 that runs very well. This motor has 210HP and 295TQ from the factory with 9.5 compression. I have cleaned the original carb, changed the oil and antifreeze and put a new exhaust on the car. the trans is a smooth running automatic. I’ve had many Torino’s but nothing this quiet or original…. 8-302 2bbl 210 @ 4400 295 @ 2400 9.5:1 The interior is the strongest area on the. The original seats have very minor wear but is not worn out or torn up. The dash pad is very nice for a car this age. The carpet is nice as well and has a nice look between the door panels and carpet. None of the panels have any sun damage as this car was always stored inside. The glass on this car is near perfect with no nicks or scratches and the seat belts show no wear or use… The original AM radio is present and still works well. This car has not been modified or cut for newer speakers or radio/cd. The plastic trim panels that run up the inside rear corners of the back window are not sun baked or falling apart, This car came without factory Air Conditioning but has the Ford flow through ventilation (which actually works… who knew??? ) The paint on this car appears mostly original and shows minor wear on the 40+ year old paint. This car appears to only need a very light restoration and a good engine detailing. This car has no cowl rot , rust of any kind. I was thinking that I could use the primo parts on this for my other cars but the Torino gods have continued to smile upon me and I don’t want to piss them off… the new owner gets to make that call. Take a good look at the pics… there are original paint dabs on the inside of the tail lights an x on the front cross member as well as other clues to speak to its originality… I wish I had room… but right now I like sleeping in the bed in my house rather than in this car… FOR THE DURATION OF THIS AUCTION, THIS CAR IS NOT FOR SALE LOCALLY.
