I have owned this 1971 Triumph TR6 for 21-years. It was in storage for the last 20-years while I was working overseas. I drove it approximately once a year when I traveled back to the states, otherwise it stayed in storage. I have had general repairs and suspension work done in the last 5-years at Concours Cars in Colorado Springs (these guys are good). Last month I had the seats professionally rebuilt and reupholstered at a local upholstery shop.. The car runs very well and it looks great. The green paint is not original (Saffron Yellow is the original) and was done by the previous owner sometime before 1991. It looks perfect in the pictures, but it is not without some chips and scratches. The boot cover is less than 2-years old, but the convertible top has a couple of small holes/tears. There is no rust on this car and it is very solid. Most everything works on the car although the heater temperature cable needs replacing and the windshield washers need work, but the wipers work fine. An attempt was made to steal the car while it was in storage about 3-years ago and some damage was done to the dash and glove box during the break-in. The dash and glove box have been patched, but not replaced. The original radio was also stolen during the break-in and it has not been replaced. A blanking plate has been fabricated to cover the radio opening. I have no knowledge of the previous owner(s) or knowledge of the car’s history beyond the last 21-years than I have been the owner. This TR6 is being offered for sale “as is” and there is no warranty. I require a $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction end. The balance can be made by wire, cashier’s check or PayPal within 7-days of the auction end. I will assist you or your agent in shipping the car if you cannot pick it up locally; however, I will not be responsible for any shipping or transportation fees or problems. It has been a fun car to drive, but I am looking to upgrade. I would consider my TR6 with cash for a 2004-06 Porsche 911. I have placed a low reserve in an attempt to sell quickly.
