Engine was exchanged by BMW. The new engine has only 11816 miles on it. For auction is a 2001 BMW M3 convertible, The car is pictured in the auction and is in great condition. The car has been serviced and check by bmw. I have a 12 page document for the service records. Please email me if you would like to see them. The bmw is a 6spd non-SMG and drives like it is brand new. The car is being sold AS-IS. It also has a few scratches on the rims. It has the original tires which go along with an old man driving this car and not someone who abused it. This BMW is equipped with the following features: Harmon Kardon audio system, power top, along with standard features including telescopic and tilt wheel, ice cold air conditioning, Drivers power seat with memory, passenger power seat, power windows, outside mirrors and locks , keyless entry and security with two original master keys, all owners books, cruise control, roll over package, dual front air bags, front and rear side air bags & Leather upholstery. This 01 BMW M3 has been driven only 4600 miles per year. The car has no open campaigns or recalls and all and every update has been completed by BMW. According to the history, it has always been serviced by an authorized BMW dealer with extensive service records. The car is equipped like all BMW's should with a manual six speed transmission. The performance off the line or at passing speeds is outstanding. The transmission feels great in all gears and the clutch grabs where it should. The BMW provides a very exhilarating driving experience and if you put it into Sport mode it is over the top! The BMW tracks down the road in a straight line and does not pull to either side. Upon hard braking there is absolutely no brake fading or squeaks and the ABS brakes perform correctly. Everything else work correctly including wipers, high beam head lights, all turn signals and hazard lights, reverse lights, brake lights and running lights. All fluids are correct and at proper levels. This car has extensive service records and demonstrates a car that has been mechanically looked after by a BMW dealer. The color of this BMW is the hard to find white! The paint and body of this BMW overall has excellent sheen and luster and the paint demonstrates a mirror finish. There are no signs of oxidation anywhere! There are minor imperfections but they are very minor: The only 2 things wrong with this car is a small dent on a door panel and a small scratch to the door handle. You can barely notice it, but it is pictured in the pictures. All glass is BMW OEM. All weather stripping and rubber is soft and supple. The top is Black and there are no imperfections anywhere on the top. The M3 was garaged most of the time and screams pride of ownership. The interior color of this BMW is Black. This entire color combination is stunning. The interior condition overall is very good. The leather seating surfaces demonstrate a garage kept automobile. All leather is soft and supple! There is typical ware thru on the drivers side upper outer bolster. The seats overall are very nice overall with little to no ware! The rest of the interior including door panels, carpets, headliner, dash, center console, head liner are all in good condition. The interior is odor free and no signs of tobacco use in this BMW. Everything works correctly including all power windows, ice cold air conditioning, power top, front and rear defrost, ventilation and heating and all ventilation settings, power door locks & mirrors, keyless entry and security, CD, cruise control, interior lighting, instrument lighting all work correctly. All controls and vents are in good condition! There are no warning lights on. Overall a well maintained automobile that was just detailed for the new owner. I require a $500 deposit via Paypal or cash in person within 24hrs of winning the auction, and full payment within 7days of winning the auction. Deposit is non refundable in the event that the winning bidder backs out of the sale, and does not pay the full payment within 7days of winning the auction. If paying with a bank check we will hold the check until it has cleared before hand over the title of the car. I reserve right to end the auction at any time before deposit is made because I am also selling the car locally.
