77 Hornet/AMX 6cyl/auto. This car is very complete with ALL the Hornet/AMX pieces! The body is VERY SOLID. Floors,hatch,door jams,cowl, firewall, "A"pillars and windshield rust free! It also has a full set of 15" MOPAR POLICE WHEELS.The car was originally green but the previous owner did a great job with the change as you can see in the pictures. I am selling this as "parts or restore" as it does not currently run(no spark). The interior is shot as is most of the driveline. The motor ran fine when I got it. The rear end howls and the front end needs bushings.The wiring needs work also. The tranny was bad so I put in a brand new 727 Torqueflight but found a problem with the kickdown linkage. When I engaged passing gear the tranny would lock up. Something was not hooked up correctly.It worked fine with the linkage disconnected.The tranny came with a parts lot I acquired years ago and came with the rebuild reciept. It is new inside. An extra pair of tail lights are included. Also included is a 79 Spirit Sedan. A rare car in itself but a good donor for the suspension, tranny and some of the wiring. It does not currently run either due to bad gas. Both cars have been sitting for a couple years. I believe the head gasket is bad on the Spirit but it did run very quiet and smoth. It has water in the oil. The body on this car is saveable but I have no use for it. Glass is also good. I would pull the motor, tranny,rear, disc brakes and some of the interior and scrap the rest. This is a package deal. BOTH HAVE CLEAR TITLES. Both will need to be towed. They are sold as-is. The Hornet is super solid and will make a nice project and is worth the price for just the AMX parts!.
