1971 Honda CL

Beautiful CL Honda 175 (1971) Gold. This is a fantastic piece of history. The bike is in what i consider very very good condition. It is 40 years old has some minor wear a tear as can be expected. This bike ran fantastic all lights blinkers ect worked. it has been sitting for 2 years it has great compression . The bike has 13926 HWY Miles. The battery is dead . I bought a replacement OEM battery Box as well The other one was shot.i do not have the time to get it going right now. The kick bolt was broken i have ordered a new kicker Which i have but has an electric start. Has little nicks and scratches here and there. the side cover Plastic on the right side was cracked but repaired with fiber glass gel on the inside.. The exhaust is an after market Hooker header from the 70's. twin carbs. fork boots are dry rotted which i have new OEM that will come with the bike seat has a couple very tiny holes.. the front part of the front fender has alittle bit of rust on the tip. Chain needs lubed......but this bike is in fantastic shape. can be up and running in a matter of days. the bike all and all needs a battery, ..............do not have the key unfortunantly,but the key ignition will turn with a small screw driver and does work.. Does have the pink slip (Clear) Florida as well........Good luck bidding. No Reserve ! Ihave listed locally as well. If you don't want it dont bid on it....some Bozo bid on it and decided vacation was more important.....and now i can't go on mine .This is a very nice bike. you will not be disapointed.On May-28-11 at 17:17:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I just went out Bought a $60.00 battery and drain old fuel and put new fuel in. changed the oil......Bike started in 4 kicks i ran it up and down the street. The carbs need cleaned and probably adjusted alittle but the bike runs strong and sounds awesome. no smoke . Again definitly need some carb cleaning sounds like the floats are sticking alittle idles alittle high
