This car is good but not perfect condition. It looks like this car was originally sold by the VW dealer in Schaumburg IL. The original owners manual (included) has several stamps for service from that dealer. I also include the owner identification card issued to a St louis resident. The car had at least one more owner before the present owner purchased in in 2005. This Model was refered to as the super beetle convertible which had a slightly longer front end to accomadate Mcpherson Strut suspension and rack and pinion steering. The vehicle also featured a 1.6L 4cy fuel injected engine. The present owner has included reciepts in excess of $8000 for parts and labor performed on the vehicle by Archway Imports, a VW specialist, here in St Louis in late 2005. These reciepts show body,trim, electrical, interior and top work. These will be included with the car. Since that time the car has been driven and maintained on a regualar basis. The cars starts easily and runs great. It drives straight down the road and shifts correctly.
