Up for auction at NO Reserve to the highest bidder is a very rare Econoline. Last year for the Falcon style van and this one is the Heavy Duty Super Van which has the biggest engine avail., a 240 C.I. 6 cylinder with the trusty three on the tree. This is a lifelong southern vehicle and is currently on a clear Tennessee title. There are a lot of positives on this one, rare style , big motor, doors line-up nicely, nothing missing and one of the straightest body panels i have seen on these as most get really wavy from the adhesives attatching the sides to the inner ribs that usually let go over time. Very very nice seats and this one has the rare padded dash. Very cool "old school" mags with new whitewall tires gives this one a great "retro" look !! There is a new feul pump and filter, recent brakes, water pump and brand new starter. Choke cable has loose knob so hard to use but open choke manually and it fires right up and sounds good. I want to be REAL upfront on the negatives,{unlike the guy i bought it from !} there are rust issues. Specifically it needs both front floor pans. These are avail. and run $60.00 each. Also, in the rear bed area there is rust also. The ribbed area is repairable by cutting in a patch from just about any old pick-up box and the flat area requires a flat piece of sheet metal. Also there is some small holes in the step are of the front door and a small hole under the right front bumper area and in the bottom of the dog leg. Also, several spots of minor bubbling and chips in paint. The frame is real good, i see no rust issues anywhere, see pics. Originally white, current paint is old and shines like a brick. This would make an excellent candidate for a full resto or surfer type van or do what i did and beat the sign ordinances and use it to advertise your business. I get multiple visitors a day who stop and take pics of my vans, believe me this a great way to attract lots of attention cheaply !! I am a licensed and bonded dealer in Minn. and therfore this van is subject to sale off of my car lot and auction MAY end early. All paperwork, titles etc. will be to the letter of the law. I require a $500.00 nonrefundable deposit within 48 hours of auction ending, balance in 7 days, NOT 8, 9 or 10 !! If this is a problem, please dont bid !! Get all your ducks in a row before bidding ;ie shipping, finances etc. and everyone involveds approval, i dont want to list again because someone said NO !! I can store for a reasonable length of time until picked up. This one has been stored for a long time, i have only driven it a short distance so unless you like to live dangerously i would plan on trailering it home.
