1929 Ford Model A 2 door sedan This is pretty much the epitome of a Hot Rod. Low, Fast, Loud,with a 6.50 top chop. Frame : T.C. I. ( total cost involved ) Modified , ( aren't they all) rear : 9 inch Ford all new parts from Currie 31 spline axles 4.11 gears. Posi unit So.Cal Speed aluminum finned drum covers Aldan coil over adjustable shocks.stainless steel lines on frame and braided s/s line to wheels. Complete So Cal Speed front brake assemble with finned hub covers that hide the Wilwood disc brakes along with backing plates and air vent at front of backing plates. All front end parts Stainless steel. Corvette master cylinder and Wilwood hydraulic clutch kit. $13676.89 for all the chassis parts. Wheels : Custom made Budnick based on their Muroc lll design only in a size that isn't their standard. Fronts: polished 16" x 7.4 Rears :polished 18 x 8.5 originally cost $3361.80 Tires: Front: Coker Excelsior Comp V 550-16 with rim strips and tubes Rear: Excelsior Comp V 700-18 with rim strips and tubes $1199.46 + mounting and balancing. Body: Steel 1929 Ford with 6.50 in. chop and channeled approx . 4 in. Steel insert in roof. cowl filled and smooth firewall. Door and window cranks removed and electric latches installed and all four windows with new regulators and are power. Doors and drivers window operates with remotes. Body seams removed at belt line and top seam faded into body at door. Visor welded to roof . Old fuel tank area houses electric gear , fuses etc. Classic guages with custom made dash face plate. Steel 32 Ford grill with stainless steel insert. Aluminum shroud custom made with overflow polished. Toyota Blue metallic with pinstriping. Paint good driver condition with a couple chips here and there from getting it out and using it. Always gets questions about body mods, especially when parked next to stock bodied car. Harley tail lights. Smooth firewall, fender wells filled and rear wheels. Much more. Driver height: I'm 5'10 and if you're 6' or over, long distance might not be too comfortable. For me it's fine and the seating is comfortable. Just wanted to make that known and the seat can be moved back. Air Cleaner: Cast aluminum base plate and top is hand laid fiberglass from the mold buck of the Greer- Black- Pruhomme dragster and houses standard filter. Engine: Edelbrock 347c.i. Ford w 424 h.p. 400ft. lbs.torque Transmission: Tremec RR 5 speed with short shift base and cnc machined shift lever and ford v8 blue shift knob. Interior: Glide Engineering Seat modified for lower profile , split back that folds foward and back. Upholstery leather . Complete inside is tan other than deep blue carpet. Stereo is Pioneer deh-2900mp with 4 speakers , remote control, xm ready,ipod hookup at front of seat. Hidden ignition w/remote shut off w/ removable key. I'm listing the car for less than half of what's in it, so I can finish another project. I need a car that will seat my family, so this has to go.
