Vehicle Detail
Frame and Body- Custom built 2" by 4" steel tubing. Kicked in the rear and Z'd in the front. Chopped 6". The body is sectioned over the frame and sits about 4" off the ground. The body has a perfect patina look to it and the original polished grill shell completes the look. New glass front windshield has also been installed and the rear tail lights are from a 59 Cadillac. Brand new license plate frame with chrome trim cover and red LED lights to light up the license plate. This matches the rear lights perfectly and gives it a sinister look at night. Suspension and Brakes- Front suspension is a dropped axle with Disc brakes. The spring is mounted to the split wishbones and suicide mounted to the frame. Very unique pivoting shock set up that works very well (not just for looks). Rear suspension is a spring over the axle mounted to the frame suicide style. Rear end has large drum brakes. New master cylinder and brake lines all the way around. This car stops on a dime. Drive train- The engine is a SBC 350 with a 350 trans. The engine has a one off carburetor system which is two 1957 Holly carbs that were used by the Canadian army. They were rebuilt and tuned by Dick's Hot Rods. A lot of money was spent on the engine. Roller tip rockers, polished valve covers and manifold, ultra rare carburetors. The exhaust pipes have also been ceramic coated in black. Flame throwers are also installed and work great with the push of a button. New aluminum radiator. Nothing out there compares to this unique engine. The engine sounds killer with the cam and straight exhaust. Wheels and Tires- Custom built 20" wire wheels for the rear and original Ford 16" wheels in the front. Brand New Double White walls up front and Brand New Whitewalls on back as well. The rear 20" set up alone was 5k. Brand new wheel covers as well. Interior- One of the coolest interiors around on this car. The bows for the top are made of real oak barrel, each individually branded with the Jack Daniels logo. The rag top is a removable as its a black canvas material. The rear wood deck is also made of real Jack Daniel barrels and is a huge head turner at shows. The interior door handles are Jack Daniel bottle openers. The seats are covered in a raw brown leather that goes perfect with the car. Interior doors have been covered in raw metal with rivets all the way around. Brand new Red Metal flake steering wheel. The ignition switch and flame thrower buttons have been moved to the center of the car for easy access. There is plenty of room for someone tall to drive this car. The gas pedal and throttle pedal are easy to get to. This car is a daily driver and has more then 35k invested into it. This is not an unsafe Junkrod as many people think Ratrods are. This thing is completely safe to drive and its built strong from the ground up! I can email you pictures of the frame and suspension build at your request. The 80 year old body makes this thing look "Rat" but in reality this was more of a Hotrod build "Safe daily driver". Every other Hotrod/Ratrod I see has a red, green or black paint job, I don't like to look like everyone else and this 80 year old Patina body is a lot more unique and harder to obtain. Sure there's a ton of old rusty Ratrod bodies out there but If you look closely at them, the regular rust color bodies look like crap. Looks more like a dog pissed on it for years. The original color of this body was green before and the combination of Patina and Green created a very unique vintage color. It hasn't been repainted at all, this color is natural. The attention this thing gets is absolutely amazing. I know everyone says that about their Rods and cars but when you see this thing rollin it clearly has its own set of balls and sets itself apart from all the imitations and lower budget "typical" builds. To have this ride your gonna need to spend some real money based on the quality alone. If you want a 20k Ratrod, there's at least a dozen on here you can buy but not this one! Please don't contact me and waste my time or yours if your not seriously interested in buying this now. Im out of town so I cant take new pictures at the moment but "Serious Buyers" that are ready to buy can contact me and we can figure something out if necessary. Im really happy with this project and how it turned out so Im definitely not desperate nor do I need to sell. I've got plenty of other projects going on at the moment so if the price is right its yours! Quick pics were just taken with a cell phone of the interior, headlights, grill and rear 20" tire to give you an idea of how clean it is. These cell phone pics really don't do the interior or exterior any justice. It looks amazing in person. The Jack Daniel's Beer Tap Handle was just purchased and will be installed as the new Shifter. This is one of those pieces that will really tie in the whole JD theme and make the interior complete! I also have a real full bottle of JD Whiskey that can be screwed on as the shifter or just for looks at a show. The interior is also equipped with LED lights for night time driving. All this thing needs is an owner with time to take her out and show her off. Jack Daniel's Whiskey has also requested pictures from me and could very well be featured on their website or advertisements in the near future. The possibilities are endless with this thing.
