Vehicle Detail

This is a rare Adventurewagen Mark VII. What makes it rare is it does not have the raised fiberglass top. It is a bottom conversion only. This means it has all the camping equipment but not the extra head room, sleeping bunk, and wind resistance you get with the high top. This bus is perfect for two people and will fit in an standard size garage. I am the original owner and a non smoker. What it has: · Camper: Dual voltage electric refrigerator, auxiliary battery system, built-in two burner propane range, under mounted propane tank, gauge console showing water / propane / gray water / and battery level, thermostatically controlled furnace, thirteen gallon air-pressurized fresh water tank, “Everpure” water purification system, sink with cutting board lid, thirteen gallon holding tank, original privacy curtains and upholstery (no tears)(front curtains can go across windows or just behind front seats), front swivel cloth seats, foam mattress (uses “full” size sheets), front bra, and removable magnetic window screens. · Van: Odometer (123998 miles). Rebuilt water cooled engine (miles on rebuilt 19937). 759 miles on new clutch master cylinder (Brake fluid has been replaced several times through the years). 4077 miles on new clutch. Rebuilt distributor & new spark plug cables (8682 miles on repair). In-dash air conditioning (non OEM, Behr brand). Sony radio / cassette with ground wires run to rear speakers (none of this special “floating ground” European stuff). Load range D tires, Yokohama Y356 (1641 miles on tires) and original paint with no apparent rust. · Damage or problems: Camper water tank has a pinhole leak somewhere (I can’t find it), rear heater element (under bench seat) has been capped off due to a leak in core (new core runs around $100 and is simple to replace), original brown exterior stripe (a sticker) is peeling, original “after market” window tinting has gone bad but the tint on the rear hatch has been replaced and is good, minor dents in body (see photos)(someone shot it with a pellet gun), dent on roof from a mechanic parking van overnight under a lift, rear chrome bumper has become pitted, and a small piece chipped out of the front plastic grille. Buyer is responsible for all vehicle shipping, taxes, tags, insurance, registration and title fees in their residing state. Registration and emissions certificate (passed state Smog Check on 05/06/2011) is current. No guarantees or warranties are offered on this vehicle; it is sold “as is”. A $400 deposit by Paypal is due within 24 hours of auction close. The balance is due within 7 days after auction ends. If full payment is not received by the 7th day after auction close, buyer’s deposit is forfeit. Vehicle to be released only after payment has cleared, cash or bank wire transfer only.
