3 Day Auction At No Reserve - Sold To The Highest Bidder! Prior History: Tom foster purchased this mustang from his sister in the 70's where she purchased the mustang new in the the year of 1965. Tom had kept the mustang well maintained as it was his driver in the earlier years in the city of Hacienda Heights,Ca. It was mostly kept original & garaged for all those years. In the early year of 1999 Tom foster passed away leaving the mustang to his son Jeff Foster. His son Jeff wanted to repaint the mustang so he painted the mustang in the year of 2000. But in 2001 he had lost intrest he then left it in is garaged, Parked & covered untill recently. This is a Original 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe 289ci "A Code" Automatic. Factory options include power brakes, air condition, counsole, deluxe 2 tone pony interior. Built in San Jose & delivered to Los Angeles Mustang spent its entire life in southren California (In the hills of Hacienda Heights). When Jeff have recived the Mustang in the year of "99" Mustang was all original & had still remained its original paint Caspian Blue. In 2000 he then decided to paint the mustang for its very 1st time. He painted the mustang Wimbledon White. The undercarriage (including floors/ torque boxs/ frame) is nice & original & in clean shape as the rest of the body is aswell. The trunk compartment is clean & was left original & unrestored, It still remains the original paint in the trunk compartment Caspian Blue. The rest of the body is in good solid shape as well. Quarters ,Aprons, trunk, jambs, rocker panels & bottom of doors are all clean as well. Has its original wired wheel hubcaps. Mustang still remains its Original Date coded fenders, Mustang has vin stamped on driver side apron as well as passenger side aporn also which is Rare to see. Has a couple of minor bubble spots other then that this is a dry California stang. Keep in mind paint is older that has some flaw but still shows off well. The interior is original Including factory Deluxe Blue & White 2 tone pony interior which is nice driver shape. Still remains original am radio. Headliner is original & in good shape. The dash pad does have some minor cracks but is original and has No speaker holes or radio cut outs. Basically interior is original & in good condition. Chrome & trim is good & complete. All glass is complete & in good shape with the exception of a minor crack in windshield. The original 289ci is in running shape. It does runs & drives. Since it sat since 2001 i Had the original 4 bbl carburetor rebuilt, drained the gas tank & blew out the fuel lines. Pour some fresh gas into it & started up. The raditor does have some minor cracks & mustang can use a tune up so I would not drive it far. It does brakes good & Shifts just fine into all gears. Headlights work, does not leak any oil or any fluids, Aprons are clean and stock & still remains the original air cleaner & valve covers as well. Overall this is a original California Mustang listed for sell for the its very 1st time at a rare 3 days aution at no reserve, Please keep in mind this is not a show stang & with some tlc Would make a good driver for its current condition or in the future you can have it painted back to original Caspian Blue which would look really nice. Mustang has no back fees & Has a Clear California.Title & Vin # does matches Title, Aporns & door tag. Lic Plates & title does goes with the mustang.
