1980 Porsche 911 SC. NO RESERVE I took this car in trade for work I had done 2 years ago with the intention of restoring it myself, 2 years with nothing done I realize its time to let some one else enjoy. Runs and drives but will need a little sorting to be road worthy again. 1st / reverse synchronizer is out otherwise tranny and clutch seem fine. Engine is cold natured, starts right away but must idle a few minutes before driving. Oil pressure sits low at idle but comes right up with a few RPM's. All four tires need replaced, due to tires, I have only been to highway speed and the car seemed fine, also have not done any hard cornering or braking, but brakes feel fine as well. Electronics all seem to work except turn signal / high beam switch needs replaced (only way to get high beam is to turn on turn signal) Air Condition works but has been converted to r134a so its not very effective on a hot day. This car is by no means perfect. Please look at all pictures thoroughly. Numerous scratches and little dings, Paint oxidation, lite hail on roof, driver side door repairs done poorly, spoiler is aftermarket - fiberglass, torn driver seat missing carpet in rear and passenger floor, missing carpet in trunk, etc... As a non sun roof car with all the pieces it would also make an excellent candidate for a SCCA or PCA race car. This is originally a "Rest of World" (ROW) car, meaning it was not originally built for America, there are no real differences for 1980 though. Car is currently titled in Texas however registration and inspection are expired so car will have to be hauled, I don't have any tow / haul options, but can gladly move it anywhere in Amarillo TX to co-ordinate with your shipping company.
