Up for Auction is my 1962 Ford Thunder bird coupe. It has a very strong 390 FE motor v8 with a 3-speed automatic Transmission . I Purchased the car from an Elderly Gentlemen 2 years ago and have been driving it around ever since, however , now I'm in college and I'm forced to sell it. The car runs and drives very good.It has the really cool swing away steering wheel. It has been kept in southern california it's whole life . All the power windows,power seats, AM radio,lights work fine. It also has an A/C but it doesn't work. I believe it is 99% original The Body is pretty straight. There is small paint chips on the driver door .The only blemish on the car is a small dent on the back bumper but other then that it's in great shape. The car is a salvage title because of theft recovery years ago.The interior is in ok condition considering it's a 50 year old car. The headliner looks amazing. The dash has sun damage but I got a nice cloth cover to cover in up. Overall it's a nice cruiser except for some small things. First the odometer stopped turning about 6 months ago so the mileage doesn't show. Secondly The right side exhaust manifold is leaking a little exhaust. These are easily fixable problems they just never really bothered me so I let them be. When I Purchased the vehicle the man had lost the keys years ago so he had to jimmy the trunk lock and ignition switch but they sell both these parts on macautoparts.com for cheap.
