Yes she ran a year ago, drove to and from Florida, but then let sit due to finances etc... I am selling this for a friend, and have a clear title. I would suggest towing it, as the floorboards have rusted at points, and the interior needs work, but I put the battery charger on it, got it cranking some, but the distributor is missing a wire, bought a new set, and those are yours of course. This car would be an awesome restoration project, and if you fixed the floor boards, the rust in the pics, painted etc.. you have a vehicle worth close to 10,000.00. Please note above I stated driven to Florida and back last year. I was informed that the motor could have been rebuilt, or overhauled, but work ahs been done to it, and it will start with a little mechanic elbow grease! but the body was not, hence the floor boards rusted to a point of could not get inspection, and then it has sat where its at due to no money. If you look at the pics the intake alone looks good, and the dirstributor is new. I would still have it towed, and I will still take all of my information into consideration, so if it was rebuilt you are getting a very lucky find, if its not, then its still a running 74 beetle, that needs body work, maintenance etc... I have posted a ton of pics so that you can make a good assesment. Make an offer and it yours. I do not mind shipping NAYWHERE, as long as YOU CONTACT THE FREIGHT COMPANY AND MAKE ALL THE ARRANGEMENTS ETC...
