I am moving out of the country with the military in the next few weeks and cannot bring any vehicles to that particular country. I am only mentioning this to point out why I have to sell the vehicle, not to invoke sympathy. This is a beautiful 2001 MB S600 Sport which I bought in early 2010. It was a two-owner CA car with some 40,000 miles on it. I commuted from Denver to Fort Collins in this vehicle since I purchased it, and so added the highway miles. This vehicle comes with the following options: Sport Package with special chrome rims (this includes optional body lowering feature), Parktronic, Dystronic, Soft Closing Doors, Rear Automatic Sunshade, Ventilated Seats, Rear Reclining Seats, Leather Console Trim, Power Activated Trunk, Wood Dash Trim, Special Window Tint (slightly darker than normal, but in an elegant way), etc. The carpet in the vehicle is still covered by the original plastic, so should be essentially new underneath. It says a lot about the previous owners that they left it in order to protect the carpet. This is my second S600 from that year and I absolutely love them. The 12 cylinder engine is as smooth as it gets and surprisingly very quick when you need it. Since 6 of the 12 cylinders shut down on the highway at cruise speed, the gas mileage is reasonable (approx. 22 on the highway, not sure of city). I never had any issues with the car and will miss it thoroughly. I am currently having the recommended B-service completed to make sure everything is in top shape for the new owner. The S600 has brand new front tires to match the rear ones which are approximately 6 months old. Oil changes have been done every 3,000 miles as recommended with the highest grade synthetic oil. The vehicle has the usual small highway blemishes, and a very small tiny dent by the left rear drivers side behind the back door. I can easily remove it if it is thought significant, or would pay for it. I own the title which will make a transaction quicker. I am selling this beautiful flagship S600 Sport as NO RESERVE. When I titled the vehicle in CO on 11/10/2010, the clerk was busy admiring the interior of the car. When she got around to verifying the mileage I can only imagine that she read the "trip mileage" rather than actual mileage. In this vehicle one can scroll through the trip and actual miles and each will show up as selected. So, that is what she recorded. I had no idea and just saw it on the title when people asked me about it. I am sorry for any confusion. I also want to thank everyone who sent comments about this for not accusing me of a rollback, but just pointing out the discrepency. Thank you for that. I am going to find out if or how to change that on the title. I suspect the DMV will never admit to a mistake, but i will try. Most importantly, I will make sure that it cannot be a problem for a buyer. Thanks again and sorry for any inconvenience.
