Vehicle Detail
1970 Pontiac GTO 455HO convertible, needs a total restoration, I purchased the car as a rolling shell (car minus hood, fenders, bumpers, motor and trunk lid) I purchased a correct date coded 455HO block and date correct #64 heads, car still has the original transmission, floors and body is very solid, also comes with full interior, any questions call me before 10:00pm at 910-494-7666. Car left the factory with approx 22 options (see build sheet) pw, pdb, posi, sport steering wheel, stereo with rear speaker, AC. feel free to call me before 10:00pm at 910-494-7666 or text me, also send an email to coorvette@hotmail.com and I'll get back to you.On May-18-11 at 08:39:39 PDT, seller added the following information: All, just to answer a few question, I'm a military member, I was stationed at Pope AFB in North Carolina back in 2005 when I purchase both cars, both cars stored inside at a commercial storage location 1 mile from my house in Cameron North Carolina (zip 28326) Because this is a no reserve auction the cars will not be sold locally until after the auction (I completely overlook the fact that it's hard to sell cars locally when I'm in Dover Delaware and the cars are stored in North Carolina), if after the auction the cars are still available feel free to contact me at the number listed above,I must give the high bidder a chance to purchase the car before I entertain selling the cars locally. I'm currently stationed at Dover Air Force Base in Dover Delaware. Thanks for your patience and It's always a pleasure talking to all the other gear heads out there. On May-18-11 at 08:56:47 PDT, seller added the following information: All, the factory 12-bolt posi rear end was long gone before I purchased the car, it was a 3.07 posi unit which can be easily purchased on ebay or at swap meets for a few hundred dollars (glad it wasn't a 3.31 or 3.55 posi unit, as those are very hard to find)On May-18-11 at 09:06:53 PDT, seller added the following information: forgot to mention, the car does has the front and rear bumper assembly (front bumper and grills are in very good condition, rear bumper needs to be rechromed and new lenses) the entire body of the car is in good condition, no metal work required for the floors, fender wells or trunk.
