1968 Jeepster Commando This is a 1968 Jeepster Commando 4x4 It has the 225 Buick V6 and runs good, no mechanical problems found. It has the 3 speed manual transmission with a new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing just replaced this week. It has new paint in March 2011. We used the factory color and added a flattening agent to the paint to make it semi-gloss for the weasthered look. Looks really nice. NO RUST, Never had any, Body has no bondo, either. There was a little spot of bondo added to the hood for a little ding. New wndshield, Black Rhino lining was added inside on sides in rear and floors. Interior was done in March 2011. The seats are factory Jeepster commando seats. Has all new seat belts, door panels, dash pad was recovered. 4" lift was installed in March 2011 Kit is a hellcreek lift and was installed at GenRight in Simi Valley and was done great. All new bushings for lift kit, etc. New shocks. 17X9 Mickey Thompson wheels with 35" Dick Cepek FCII's, tires look like 75-80% life still on them. Gauges added to see temps etc. April 2011 New Bestop Convertible top added March 2011, sides roll up and rear rolls up too. I have a free hardtop if you want it, you have to pick it up. All lights, gauges, turn signals, etc. in good working order. Factory rear light holes are still there, just covered up with a plate for LED taillights. This commando runs and drives good.
