Up for auction today is a Beautiful ’69 Mach 1, Marti Report Verified. Ordered from the factory in Winter Blue with White interior this car has a classy look, this isn’t your usual red Mach 1. Simply a gorgeous car, ready for sunny day cruises, weekend shows and car club events! Not a perfect car, but very, very nice. The body of this Mach 1 looks very nice with excellent fit & finish. The previous owner claimed $20k was spent on the paint alone. The only repair panel reported and observed is an NOS passenger rear quarter panel that was installed correctly. The floors, torque boxes and frame rails are in great condition. The chrome and bright trim were all replaced, re-plated or polished. Take a look at the photos, they say it best! The interior is in excellent condition. Factory ordered in white the interior is a very comfortable place to spend a cruise, much cooler than black in the summer heat too! The seats have been reupholstered. The carpet has been replaced with a reproduction kit with black inserts. The door panels were replaced with quality reproductions, too. The dash pad is a Ford tooling reproduction. The Mach 1 instrumentation is in good condition. This car was ordered with a factory Tachometer that works well. Even the factory clock still works! Originally ordered with the S-Code 390 and a 4 Speed, this Mach 1 is now powered by an excellent running 302 and an automatic transmission. The 302 has been equipped with a 4V intake, electronic ignition, headers and dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The engine produces a surprising amount of torque and sounds aggressive. The automatic transmission goes into gear quickly and shifts firmly. The combo works great together and makes this a very fun car to drive. The rear diff appears to be the original 9” 3.25 the car was ordered with. The factory front Power Disc Brakes work excellent. The wheels are original ’69 Mach 1 with brand new BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s. This car is For Sale on our showroom floor and is actively being marketed.
