Vehicle Detail

Up for auction-1973 gt750 ratbike. This bike is titled and tagged.I have a small inventory of parts, different years, for these buffalos. The frame, wiring, gauges, rear hub and rim,and tank are 1973.Fenders are 73s but were beat up and rusty so I cut both fenders down, removed front fender stays, and epoxied a bad spot @ center of front fender.I wanted to leave epoxy built up on front fender which ended up being a Suzuki s. I used 70s Suzuki enduro light holders, fork ears ,with original light. Used a pair of chromed plastic turn signals up front and originals on back with new reflectors. I don't think seat is factory but seat pan is.Very comfortable! I removed gas\radiator cap cover and made a radiator cover with aluminum flashing. I removed the cooling fan and center stand. Original motor ran good but leaked antifreeze @ the head on the left cylinder.so I replaced with a late 75 motor. The left side case was dinged so that sprocket sidecover wouldn't fit right.Aluminum flashing again. Took an Suzuki 's' bolt and stamped all over aluminum.Has UNI air filters with original jets but had to set jet needles all the way up to make it purr. Used original gauges so had to wire neutral light to indicator light @ countershaft sprocket. It leaks oil, needs new seal. I used 76 forks, calipers, discs, all in good shape.Forks need new seals.Lowered rear shocks with chromed shackles.I epoxied small crack in sidecover on the back but didn't hide it on the painted side.It isn't reccracked but it shows. Got a picture of the crack. These 73 sidecovers cover the UNI air filters nicely but the left one is reeeaally close to the choke lever on the cv carbs.{no cv carbs on 72,73] That is why sidecover is scratched.Got a picture of scratches. Probably needs new battery. It is weak on the starter but fires up one kick.Last time I rode it low beam didn;t work and speedo acted funny. I might remedy those before it goes. Used semi drag bars and tried to use same paint as tank and fenders .It didn't adhere to chrome as well so ooo there are afew chrome spots showing through. I probably to ok 15 to 25 pounds off this bike .I have a 73 gt750 that is original and the difference in the ride is shocking. Loss of weight and forward mounting the rear shocks made for a much better ride. Gonna miss it! Winning bidder is responsible for shipping costs.I know nothing about shipping bikes but I am willing to haul it anywhere around Oklahoma City area if it will help. Almost forgot! Since taking these pictures I replaced exhaust pipes with late 74s.They are alittle tighter for cornering and they don't have those stupid crosstubes! They are in good shape ,too.I will be willing to put 73 pipes back on for winning bidder if desired. I Thanks for lookin!!! and readin' this mess.!!!!
