1973 VW Super Beetle This is a great car. It would be good for either a daily driver as is or for a total restoration. It starts and idles puuurrrrrrfectly. It runs and drives very smoothly and shifts through all gears easily. It feels smooth and tight on the road at town or highway speeds. Let me tell you the couple bad things and then list all the good stuff. The radio doesn't work, the drivers visor clip is broken but I am trying to get one before you get the car. The paint has some touch ups and roof repainted but it looks great and you could use it as a daily driver right now without doing anything. There are some scratches but not rusty ones. Now for all the good stuff. New motor at 59,596 miles Original 62,697 miles. Tennesse doesn't put mileage on the title of an old car but I have the paperwork from Kentucky from 2004 that certifies the mileage at 60597 Rebuilt Carburetor New upholstery. (worn through spot where drivers seat folds) New head liner New carpet on floors, in way back, and under hood New door panels New window rubber Bosch hot start relay ignition. (car often starts before you think you've turned the key enough) New rubber connectors between engine area and heating system Floorpan shows some rust but is solid and not rusted through Stainless tail pipes Chrome oil sump cover Fair amount of records and paperwork from car Fly windows operate perfectly I will work with you to get the car shipped anywhere in the US at your expense.
