I am selling my 1997 Saab SE 4 Door Hatchback (Non-Turbo). It is an excellent car, with 172000 miles. (Mostly highway miles). Clear title, no major wrecks. I have many of the maintenance records from the past 13 years, including the original dealer inventory and bill of sale. This car has only been kept in Georgia and Alabama. The car gets almost 30 miles to the gallon!! Car Features include: Automatic, Non Turbo ABS (4-Wheel) Power Steering Dual Power Seats Leather Seats (heated) Power Windows Security System AM/FM Stereo Moon Roof Power Door Locks with Remote Keyless Entry Cassette Player (No CD Player) Alloy Wheels Cruise Control Dual Air Bags The Good: Fuel Pump, Line, etc. were replaced less than a month ago, with brand new parts. Transmission has been replaced within the last year. Car paint and body are in excellent condition. (Paint is still glossy, as you can see in the picture) Brakes have been replaced within the past year. (Stops on a dime). Regular oil changes. Includes many of the original maintenance records, including original dealer inventory Interior is leather, clean, and in good condition. This car was top of the line for it's year! The Bad: There are only two main issues with the car. The first is the air conditioner. The heat works fine, however, the air conditioner blows cool but not cold air. Mechanic said a hose needs to be replaced, but I don't have the time to deal with it. (Cost estimate was around 300 dollars). Additionally, the horn does not work, however, I was told that this was a known issue with the 1997 Saab, and the contact plates in the steering wheel need to be replaced. (I was told that this is a cheap and easy fix.) The only other problem is the windshield has a crack in it. It has been sealed, so it no longer is spreading, and it does not affect visibility.
