For sale a 1976 Plymouth Volare 2 door hardtop sedan 54000 miles. My grandfather had this car from new it is clean inside and out and the milage is genuine. It recently has had a new battery, new starter motor and new altenator and new tyre. It has the original 6 stoke engine and the car runs great. We have no room for it anymore and it could go to someone who genuinely apprciates this classic car. Only problem is the passenger side window was recently broken by my daughters bike handlebar I have called round for quotes and it is going to be around $250 to replace. Inspection is good for another 18 months.On May-14-11 at 21:30:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Listing edited to answer the many questions I have had and to add a ton more pictures. Also to ask you to please ignore the picute taken from the passenger side of the manual car you can see a gear stick that picture is from another car my grandad left my brother is keeping not sure how I got it in there! There is no air conditioning just hot and cold air vent blower. The body has no rust apart from a small spot in a wheel arch (see picture) there is no rot in the frame rails. The rest of the car, the inside of the trunk, the engine bay, underneath are all clean this car has been kept in a garage its whole life and had one careful owner from new. There are 2 new tires on the car and it has also had a brand new starter motor, alternator and battery in the last month. My brother is a mechanic so he replaced those since it had been sitting so long and the parts are so cheap just $48 for the starter motor and $46 for the alternator. Mechanically this car is perfect it runs perfectly and has got just 54 thousand careful miles on the clock. The only parts on this car that need work apart from the window as mentioned above, and actually a lot of people have E mailed me about selling me a window since I listed the car (I am in the process of perhaps getting one for $25 if I get it I will include it with the car of course) are a small front light glass is cracked (see picture) and there are 2 plastic knobs/handles missing one on the door handle and one on the blower switch (see picture) they are around $3 from Autozone. The needle that indicates your speed has also snapped off but is a quick and cheep fix to. We just used the sat nav we have for our speed we feel there is no point fixing all these niggly little things if we are not wanting to keep the car. Also included with this car is the original user and service manuals. Another thing I did not mention in my original listing is we are selling this to be able to afford a Minivan so I am willing to do a trade for the right one.
