Beautiful blue 1978 R100/7 in excellent mechanical condition. Ready to ride anywhere. Originally from Arizona, no rust anywhere. Original tool kit, tray and cover and air pump are included. Dual plugged heads with Dyna III electronic ignition and new coils. All instruments and gauges work correctly. Krauser bags (latches are not working as usual) and Reynolds rack and backrest. Stebel horn (139 dB) and original horn. Chrome engine guards. Corbin Dual Canyon seat and original seat both of which could be recovered but are not in too bad shape. National Cycle windscreen. Tires about 50% tread left. Good Interstate battery. Bike has been well maintained and restored to original mechanical condition by a professional restorer (Ray Dye) @ 45100 miles to include: Hone cylinders, rebuild cylinder heads, rebuild top end, replace pushrod seals, rebuild carbs and balance, replace carb floats with alcohol resistant ones, rebuild front forks with new Progressive springs, new fork gaiters, replace front brake pads, install steel braided brake line and service rear brake, serviced all joints, bearings and replaced seals and installed new Koni shocks in rear. Replaced R/L petcock assemblies, gas lines and filters. Cosmetically the bike still looks good but painted surfaces should be repainted as fading and chipping over 32 years has taken a toll. I tried to show this in the picture fron the top. No dents anywhere on painted surfaces. There are a couple of small dents in the left muffler and some deposits from boot marks and contact with plastic (see pics). Haynes service manual, spare oil and fuel filters are included. Mileage will increase nominally until sale. Don't want to sell but a 2007 R1200R is on the way and no room for two.
