1986 Volkswagen Scirocco 16v MKII ----------- I have owned this car for many years – been in the family longer than that. The car is very reliable; I drive between Virginia and New Jersey 4 times a year since 2007 and use it as a pleasure car. You can drive this car home anywhere. (Full size spare tire - same rim) Never has been in an accident. *European Bumpers* ----------- Has always passed NJ state inspection. Currently inspected through 5/2011. Does not smoke. No leaks. Professionally maintained regularly by VW specialists in Richmond, VA. Within the last year, I have put in a new timing belt, new motor mounts, some coolant hoses, a new distributer, and a new alternator. ----------- 2006-2008 Paintjob, brakes and pads, wheels, tires (90% tread remaining), shocks and struts, CD and speakers, exhaust (catalytic-back), door/window/sunroof gaskets. ----------- True mileage is unknown. Engine professionally replaced 5 years ago (have all receipts) estimated mileage on new engine 80,000.
