I am listing this 1978 CHEVY 454 CAMPER SPECIAL for a friend whose uncle bought it new. it has changed hands in his family a few times till he bought it from his cousin who had parked it in 2008 when it developed an engine noise. turns out the power steering pump leaked down. This truck is original all the way. you rarely see one this clean and solid. mostly due to the camper that has been on it since day one. we just removed it to reveal the pristine bed. You could spend some time detailing this truck and take it to a show as is. the original carpet is amazing. the seat bottom needs to be redone. the build sheet is under the passenger side. but we did not attempt to remove it and risk damaging it. the radio is aftermarket. the ONLY spot of rust (pictured) is at the rear drivers side rear corner of the cab. and some surface rust where the camper was on the bed rails. This truck fires right up and runs like a clock. drives like a new truck. it also has a posi rear with 3.7 gears. dual tanks work. this C-20 is one of the cleanest solid 70's chevy trucks I have seen. and would be a great addition to your collection, or tow your show car with it.
