It is equipped with a 350 V8, 4barrel carb, and an automatic transmission. As stated by previous owner, non numbers matching motor and trans were rebuilt to stock specs about 2,000 miles ago, during the restoration process. Engine sounds great, with no apparent ticks, knocks, or noises. Does not smoke when started, or leak any fluids. Trans shifts smooth, and responsive. It has a stock rear, which makes this car ideal for someone looking for a little acceleration and horsepower with the 350, but a gas sipper when driven on the highway. I have been driving around this week, and 18-20 mpg is not out of reach!! This car is a fantastic driver. It drives straight down the road. It doesn’t drift to one side, nor does it pull to either side if you touch the brakes. It was a Southern car, so the undercarriage is extremely clean! There is a thin layer of undercoat, but appears to be very solid correct. Frame is straight, and no rust is visible or beginning to show. The undercarriage is painted flat black, which makes this a no worries cruiser. You don’t have to worry about any stone chips with everyday driving. Car is equipped with Disc Brakes in front, drums in rear, and power steering. Interior is completely new. New front and rear seat covers w foam, headliner, carpet, and door panels. All gauges are in working order. All door handles and trim are excellent as well. The glass appears to be original, but free from scratches, and very clear! All weather stripping, felts, and rubber were replaced as well with no visible overspray present. The previous owner took their time when assembling. No cracks in the dash pad or dash board area. Paint is a hugger orange color. I don’t believe a factory option for 1972, but looks awesome on this Buick! Black stripes are painted on, not vinyl. This is not a Barrett-Jackson rotisserie restored $50,000 show car. It is however a nicely assembled muscle car that can hold its own at any car show, cruise night, and even take home a few trophies! Front and rear bumpers are painted, but done well. All other chrome is excellent! You can see from the pictures it’s a clean and well built, a solid car that you can hop in and drive anywhere! $1,000 deposit due 24 hours from end of sale. Balance due within 7 days.
