1978 Ford F250 Truck 4x4 Have title in hand - The interior: -This is the best part of the truck!!! - This is what is new- New seats from Jegs- New dash pad Cover- New Door panels- New carpeting- New Headliner- New ignition switch- and many other smaller pieces - Has a custom made roll bar behind the seats - I painted the dash - I put 2 Simpson 5 point harnesses in- looks great I have around $800 in the interior alone- the truck is definitely custom but looks awesome The Body: - Overall good condition. Needs a paint job but looks okay. Has very little to no rust the floor pans were rusted out but i patched them up. Has some dents on both sides on the bed right behind the cab and some other smaller ones on the bed in other places - Both doors open without any problems- driver side door has a small pocket of rust on the bottom corner of the inside of the door. The outside door handle opens the door but it seams like the spring is stretched because it has to be pulled up all the way for the door to open and the door lock works but the door cant be opened with a key. But the door does lock. The passenger side works great. - The back of the bed has had some bondo work done at one time- its not the best job i have ever seen because its very wavy but still doesn’t look to horrible. - Has dual gas tanks and the rear gas tank and sending unit are brand new as of last year. The Engine and Transmission- - It had a 460ci in it but it was not original. The owner before me put it in. I bought the truck running and drove it home. I didn’t have a license yet so I was working on the interior and other small things like brakes and such. But then once I got the truck all cleaned up I took it out and drove it about 25 miles to my buddy’s house when it started over heating. I finally got the truck home and decided to pull the engine and build it up so I could take the truck through some big mud holes. But money got tight and engine was never started. I pulled it apart to find the over heating problem and it was a hole rusted through the timing chain cover. So the engine is apart and in my garage and will go with the truck.(it will have everything but the intake and timing chian cover) it also will come with the C6 trans and both drive shafts and radiator. (Does Not Run) Other- - Hand crank winch mounted on front- Comes with crank - Tires are shot- they are completely bald - All lights worked when truck had battery in it - All windows work and are in good shape - Dana 44 in front and Dana 60 in rear Please call or text with any questions 815 762 7805 My name is Ron Thanks For looking Also For Sale Locally so auction may end at any time.
