3 Day Auction At No Reserve - Sold To The Highest Bidder! This is an original & Documented 1970 Chevorlet Impala Custom Coupe, Numbers Matching 350ci. Purchased new at Connell Chevrolet in Costa Mesa, California in December of 69' by a U.S Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. The owner later moved to El Segundo and the Impala spent most of it's life at the Los Angeles Air Force Base near the marina. The original owner drove it mostly from work & back over the years as his 2nd car. Keeping it in very much stock condition. In 2008, he sold it to his friend at work. The 2nd owner hardly putting any miles on it and never got around to restoring the Impala. The 86,340 seem to be original mileage. In the glovebox was found the original owners manual in the storage bag. As well inside of the bag was the original Window Sticker in great shape. Still has some of the adhesive glue left on the front. I have scanned the Window Sticker Below A True California Chevy, built & sold in Southern California. Still to carry it's original Blue & Yellow plates. Remaining most of it's "Green Mist" paint. Still has the original Green vinyl top. The undercarriage is in beautiful shape. Original floors & frame structure unrestored, solid as well as clean.There one spot I noticed on the driver side floorboard when the heel would go. Small hole, see floor photos below. The trunk compartment is original as well including the original jack setup in place. In really good shape for it's age. Under the vinyl top, rockers & doors are clean. You would only expect this out of a California car. It looks to been repainted on the front fenders & hood. For whatever reason, it attracted surface rust from sitting at the Air force base near the marina. It does have the original body panels, trim, wheel covers & chrome. The interior is 100% bone stock & in original condition. Rare to see Dark Green cloth interior. Front seat is pretty warned out and will need work, driverside is in bad shape. The backseat is in great shape and shows little wear. From the headliner to the carpet, door panels to the dash pad, it's original. The original working Am/Fm Radio is still in place. The air condition still works & is complete, will need some freon. The front windshield is not original and does have a crack. Other then that, the rest of the glass is original soft ray. Overall, interior is complete & unrestored. All the drivetrain is original including the number's matching 350ci 2bbl / Turbo Hydra-matic. Under the hood, it has never been restored and remains bone stock. The engine has never came out of the car or has ever been modified. Recent work was done by the 2nd owner to get in good running shape. New tires, rebuilt the carburetor, new fuel pump, few new hoses, clean out the gas tank and blew out the fuel lines, newer battery, blead the brakes & overall check out. A great running Impala that can be driven anywhere. Power steering & brakes fine. Would make a good daily driver for someone. _________________________ Conclusion & Terms _______________________ Overall, this is a unrestored, complete California 70' Impala Custom. Same owner since day 1 up in till' a few years back. Great thing about this Impala is that is has never been modified or taken apart. It's a original car that can be driven as a unrestored Chevy.
