These are very handy and very sought after rigs. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Make sure and check out the Video below. These Rigs are one of a kind and are very useful in so many ways. You get the all the perks of having a camper but you also have the convenience to hop in and drive it wherever you want. It is the size of a normal vehicle and still sleeps 4 people easily. These are pretty reliable rigs. These 4 cyl. engines run for a long time and when something does go wrong they are easy to work on. Also has the manual tranni which helps. This one seems to run good it is a bit cold hearted and there is a few leaks. The transmission and clutch feel Great. Just a few gaskets and TLC, possibly a tuneup and this baby is ready to go. Runs and drive good enough, it will sputter a bit when its cold but once your warmed up & going its a great smooth running motor. The exterior of this Unit is in ok shape but could use some work. The lime green paint is actually in good shape with some visable chips and dings See the Video for close ups. The white and green is likely my favorite color combo on these. There is some rust located around the truck. The bumpers and bottoms of flor pans in drivers and passengers floor are rusting through as you can see. The bumpers need to be fixed or replaced at some point. Has a nice set of Goodyear Tires that have 85-95% Tread left. The top pops up just like it should and even the protective netting that encloses the inside when the top is up is in good condition few holes in the back see video. Has the electric and water plug in on the outside on the drivers side with the propane tank mounted on the passenger side under the sliding door entrance. The Electric Works The Stove Works The Refrigerator Works Pop Top Works The interior is the cleanest part about the truck. I hate to say it but the interior is probably as like new as you will see on one of these unrestored. The green Plad interior with the yellow and black stripes really gives this van a vintage classic look. All of the seats and cushions are in amazing shape. The don't have any rips or tears anywhere. The carpet does have some stains but overall condition is good. The front floor pans in the front are rusting out in the corners and need to be replaced. the rest are good. The electric and water work once they are hooked up. The sink and all drains work. The refrigerator works knob missing on propane tank so I didn't test the stove but its all ther and looks good. The plug in is fine and aux power is all intact with the fuse panels on the walls factory etc. It sleeps 4 people when the top is raised up and the back hatch opens to give you even more room plus has cabinets for storage located in the back. These are probably one of the most useful and convenient rigs you can buy. You have plenty of room to sleep, eat, cook, or sit around and yet it is also small enough to close up and drive to the store or wherever you need to go. Don't miss out on this very cool and unique truck. It needs some TLC here and there and truthfully a repaint and restoration but its the kind of truck you can use as you restore it. I was going to do it 100% and sell it restored my body and paint guy wants $2500 to replace all the metal and paint it all original 2 stage etc. Thats about all it needs unless you want to replace the motor with a bigger one...;-) I took pictures of every detail of this VW Westfallia so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting.
