Vehicle Detail

1998 Suzuki Marauder VZ800 My Suzuki, which has been sitting in my garage for a while, finally has to go. It's been in there for 3 years, and will need a tune-up. But as you can see from the video, with a fresh battery that I installed recently, it does start and run. I would recommend a tune-up, and oil change, and fresh gas. I doubt it needs anything else. Would I ride it home? Probably not. It's a nice bike, but I'm moving soon, and my fiancé doesn't want me keeping something I don't use (I agree), so this baby deserves a good home. Upgraded grips.Highway bars.Windshield.LOUD pipes. Pictured is an upgraded Mustang seat, which I'm putting as a $300 additional option. It cost $500 new, but if you don't want it, I have the original seats in great condition that come with the bike no matter what. This bike has it all, a classic American Cruiser look (and sound with the upgraded pipes), with the reliability of Suzuki. Please oh please don't bid unless you are going to pay for it, and pick it up. Please also notice the registration is past due. All the penalties on it total $300, which you'll have to pay to get it up to date. (Thats the penalties... the rest of the registration costs will be depend on final price, and your location. I don't want you getting any surprises.) $100 non-refundable deposit through Paypal within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Cash on pick-up, within 10 days. Feel free to ask any questions, and I will make myself available for you to come see it if you like. On May-02-11 at 16:53:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Answers to Recent questions: Yes that is the original miles. I bought the bike used, about 5 years ago, I don't know how many owners there were before me. It has been started about one per year over the last 3 years. The video of it starting was last week. The tires look to be in fine condition, as do the brakes. There are no leaks that I can see. It hasn't left any spots in my garage where it sits. The bike was tuned up by Riders Choice in the bay area, where I bought the bike. It has only had an oil change since then, and that was 4 years ago. The bike has had zero miles put on it in 3 years. Registration penalties can be paid by anyone. If I pay them, I'd have to pay 3 years plus penalties, a new owner pays 2 years plus penalties. You can look on DMV.CA.GOV to find out exactly what it will cost to register it. (use the license plate number visible in the pic and the last 5 of the VIN on the listing) Know what they are and please bid accordingly. I have the pink slip in hand, I am the owner, and I will sign it over. You'll get that, and a receipt of sale. Those two pieces of paper plus the money to the DMV and it's yours, no problems. Motorcycles thankfully don't need smog, so it's as smooth a transaction as a classic car.
