For Sale 1973 Dodge Challenger Collectors Dream This car is a matching numbers, 318 with an automatic on the ground. Original 142,000 miles, the car was owned by the same family since it was purchased new in 1973. This Mopar is clean, was repainted roughly 8 years ago the same factory green, and a new OEM style vinyl top installed, car is pretty straight a few minor dings here and there, but for a unmolested 1973 you cant ask for better Also had the factory transmission rebuilt and reinstalled into the car about 10 years old, so all drivetrain is matching numbers, and the window sticker shows all the options that were ordered with car. Everything works on this car, original AM radio turns on but no sound is heard not sure why, i only hear a light static sound. This car speaks for itself, beautiful original car down to the factory hub cabs. I bought the car to build a pro-touring type Mopar but decided this car would be better suited for a collector and I was better off fixing a car that wasn't this original. I'd hate to ruin a true factory classic. Previous owner said he drove the car about 400 miles in the last 8-10 years, I drove it home about 50 miles, put some new tires on it and now its ready for its new owner. I could not believe how smoothly this car drove, I've driven alot of Chevy Classics and none as smooth as this car.
