Up for sale is a 1955 Chevy 2 door hardtop belair. It was originally a V8 car but does not have the original motor or transmission. The motor is a 350 and transmission is a 700R4 automatic with overdrive. The body is really straight and paint looks really good. Its pearl white with a metallic silver top. The bumpers are painted to match the top- not my choice but looks pretty good. The interior is done in white and silver to match and is in very good shape. The car has been painted for about 7 years. It doesn't have any rust bubbles or issues anywhere. The car came from Arkansas so its inner rockers and floor board supports are solid. Both front floorpans have had a patch panel welded in. The glass is all in good shape. It has a set of Boyd 15" aluminum wheels and good tires. The car is very sharp inside and out. The only thing I have noticed that didn't work is the turn signals (which I don't have time to figure them out). The car has drum brakes and manual steering. It has a power steering pump and a/c compressor on the motor but they aren't hooked up. It has an Edelbrock carb which starts easy. The car has a great drivetrain and makes a great cruiser. It has headers and glasspacks for exhaust. The car starts, runs, and drives good. Its not a Barret Jackson car but is a very good looking car for car cruises or local car shows.
