This is my 1948 Kaiser Special. A very Restorable Sedan. It is complete and has original paint called "Doeskin" or the PPG Name of "Pastel French" which is a peach tan color that was on the pint can of PPG Lacquer that came with the car. The Stainless and Bake Lite is in great condition. This car is a wonderfull candidate for an easy restoration. Original 6 cy. engine which is Continental used by Kaiser. The front emblem with the Buffalo is nearly perfect and as clear as they get. It has matching Kaiser Buffalo Push Button Door Poppers which was a wonderful change from the standard latches seen on other vehicles are also in wonderfull condition. The grill is in very good condition as well as the bumpers with nice chrome and few scratches. When the starter began to fail I got another. Brakes will have to be done from sitting. It has a trunk dent and two rust areas at the lower rear edge of back fender which I will repair before she leaves. The door panels are very shoddy but everything is there for re-upholstery. The Passenger rear door sometimes will not stay latched but I can repair that before it leaves. I am so busy with my customers cars that I am offering her for sale to someone who will appreciate this car as I do. The Kaiser has a wonderfull heritage with its creator who also started Kaiser Medical Center, Kaiser Steel and Aluminum, Kaiser Dam Building, Kaiser Shipyards and of course Kaiser Fraiser.
