You are bidding on a 1976 MG Midget with 1500cc Triumph motor and 4 speed manual. VIN# gan6ug171316g, I would not call this a restoration ( was in very good condition to start with ) but more of a refresh and up grading. BODY The body and frame has no cancer, just a little surface rust on nuts and bolts and the likes. Very straight and tight, with no damage. Painted less than a year ago. All gaskets for tail lights, side marker replaced. New top, new windshield with new seals, door seals, trunk seal and top header seal. All glass is good, even side vent windows work. New wiper blades. Interior New carpet, new a/m f/m cd radio and speakers and dash cap. All gauges, switches, lights, turning signals, even cig lighter works. Upgraded 3 point seat belts and high speed heater blower. Running Gear Good running 1500cc Triumph motor ( no smoke, black or blue ) cold dry compression ( 160-165 psi on all cyl ). Rebuilt stromberg carburetor, new plugs, wires, batt. and belts. Electronic ignition. Valve adjusted and new valve cover gasket. 4 speed transmission shifts well with no slipping or grinding. New brake pads and shoes. Brake and clutch systems flushed. Almost new tires. All fluids, engine, transmission and rearend have been changed. Top boot cover and tonneau cover ( zipper broken ), along with jack and lug wrench in storage bag, are in newly carpeted trunk. Also some MG banners and a folder with the org. new car window sticker and other doc. Only thing left to do is put gas in it, put top down, and enjoy Payment of $500 due in 48 hours through paypal.
