What we have here is a 1997 GEO Tracker (manufactured by chevy). Its a great condition for the year. Specs on it are 1.6L dohc 16 valve 4cyl engine, its 4x4 4H and 4L t-case, 5 speed standard transmission. Good on gas, it gets somewhere in the 30's range. I'm only looking to sell it because I have a few cars the way it is. And the insurance and the price of gas you have to make a cut somewhere . There is nothing wrong with the car. Everything is in good working order. I have did a few things to it since I've had it. lets start, I bought it from a friend of mine that needed some money to pay bills, he had 3 cars this being one and another tracker in which was his wifes, so he got the money to pay his bills and I acquired his geo tracker. It actually worked out well, because i was doing a job, in which i drove 150 miles a day to and from. Small good on gas, what could I say, it worked out. I still do drive it daily, so the miles will be a little higher them what is listed. The motor was fully rebuilt on it when there was 192,xxx miles on it, as well as the clutch replaced. That would mean there is around 32,xxx miles on the motor currently. I’ve gone over the car, and changed a few parts the soft top is new, i as well have a bikini top for it. There is a new alternator and starter on it. Both U-joints on the rear drive shaft were changed. They do have grease fitting, unlike stock ones. I took off the factory air box and put a high flow cone air filter on it. Even though it’s a small 4cyl, thought it could help it breath better. It may give a real time gain of 1 mpg. Not to much of a difference. I do have the factory air box if the buyer would like that as well. Thermostat was changed in october before it got cold. Also the antifreeze. Speaking of October that is also when I got it. The battery was also changed in october before I got it. So I have had it for about 6 months, in that time I have put almost 12,000 miles on it. One downfall is I have a 1 year old daughter and having a bad back, after a while it reaching in and out of the back seat to get her makes it hard because it’s only a 2 door. I was going to give to the wife to drive but she don’t want a 5 speed. Shes an automatic kind of person. The interior is clean, seats have no rips and are in good condition, all the glass is good and like I previously said the soft top is new. There is a sony single disk cd player in it. There is no a/c but the heat works fine. It’s a fun little car, I wouldn’t be afraid to drive it anywhere. 4x4 works fine and its great in the snow, And with the price of gas what it is. It has no problem doing 75mph highway speeds. This would make some a great starter car or a commuter car to and from work. The new buyer should be able to get another 200,xxx out of it easy. The only thing this car needs is a new home. It has a clean PA title. Also its PA inspected until 1/2012 I stated everything to the best of my knowledge. There is a few blemishes on the car, two small paint bubbles on the hood as one picture should show, also, right hand side of the tail gate there is a small bubble as well all and all the body is in nice shape. The only thing that's out of place on it, on the back window where the soft top meets the door/ tail gate there a strip to connect the two it currently doesn’t have one but I'm trying to find one for it. Not the cheap spray can stuff. the paint you roll on at the tune of $100 a gallon. Cleans up easy. if your shoes are dirty. Also the rocker panels (bottom of the door) have been painted with this to hence the dark color on them in the pictures. This was done with the inside, to protect against rust, dirt, and rock chips.
