Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my pride and joy. Numbers matching ym code 326 HO signet gold/gold only 2228 made including convertibles. This is a rust free twas/cal car (not even a bubble after media blast). Exterior: She was media blasted to bare metal then sealed with self etching primer, then went to the paint shop and was repainted with a DuPont base/clear coat we matched it as close as possible to original Pontiac gold. All chrome is new and replaced with OER parts down to the last door handle, front and rear bumpers, and stainless steel wipers. I installed a 400 hood and a spoiler (commonly installed in the 60's and 70's on these cars because I like the way it looks). You can easily find a stock Firebird hood if you want to put her back to original. New TA radials on 8 inch rims (I know they are not factory, but I like the way they fill out the wheel wells after many talks online, I agree they handle like rails on that car! They were powder blasted and repainted. I believe they are hw code.) All new Firebird emblems including the OEM stripe were installed per spec. - factory. Drive Train: Motor and transmission have 9K on rebuild on factory YM code 30 over 326 with original Carter 4-barrell. I installed chrome valve covers and intake but have the original valve covers and HO intake that go with the car. When motor was rebuilt everything was replaced: starter, distributor, wires, etc. The original 308 rear-end is tight and does not leak nor does the bullet proof two speed auto transmission. The exhaust system is custom aluminized pipe with thrust turbos that sit in the original clamps. She is a high revving 326 that surprises a lot of people when she kicks in 2nd gear!! This car is a blast to drive and is very quick! All the drum power brakes were totally rebuilt including springs and slaves and any rubber hoses. All shocks are new. Interior: The interior is all new from Classic Industries or Year One. OER parts (this includes 80/20 loop carpet, new seats, all new door panels, levers, and anything else that you can touch on the dash, headliner and seat kit were installed by professional local who specializes in muscle car restoration, our walnut center bezzell was custom made with real walnut veneer because I could not find a reproduction to fit the standards I had set for the car - it is NICE!) The complete dash was disassembled, lubricated, cleaned, all new bulbs installed, ac system basil kit installed (blows ice cold air! and functions as it should), every light on the dash including high beam on t-3's comes on as it should new. The fact is, I've spent a year restoring this car. I need to buy cars for my two daughters so I must sell this car. Please do not low ball me. This is a VERY NICE HO. It has been raining for three weeks here in Missouri, so I have not taken it out to take any good pictures underneath. I will get those posted on here by the weekend. It is just as clean as any car I have ever owned - no undercoating!! The buy-it- now price is 10 K below my investment, she is insured at Haggerty's for 40,000. right now - do the math. Thank You! Call me with any questions!! Mark 573-746-1050. On Apr-28-11 at 08:12:49 PDT, seller added the following information: A deposit of 1000.00 is due on paypal or cash at auctions end. No tire kickers please . Thank you
