1957 Ford Thunderbird Frame Off Restored 312 RARE Colonial White/Blue Color Combination. Both Tops, Porthole Hardtop and Brand new Soft top. The 63K miles on the odometer are believed to be original. This dry original Texas car underwent a frame off restoration in the early 2000s and the frame and undercarriage are very clean. The motor was also gone through at that time and rebuilt. The TBird wears its original color paint and trim per the VIN Tag. Original 312 Motor. This Colonial White/ Desden Blue combination is not only classy, but very rare! The car was recently inspected by my mechanic and the paint was polished. Third party inspections are welcome and encouraged. There is no evidence that the car has ever been hit and no bodywork / bondo is apparent. NO RUST! Newer tires. No leaks. Fires up and drives straight and strong. Chrome is in excellent condition with no pitting, etc. Door gaps, trunk gaps and hood gaps fit very well (as well as possible for these old tbirds ;) Over $40K invested in this car. There are some small bubbles on the rear deck under where the hardtop and softop fits (See pictures). They are so small that they are hard to pick up with the camera. Some minor cracking in only a few areas on the lacquer paint job but you have to really look to see them (see pictures). Again, I have documented these areas in the pictures below. Although this is not a NO RESERVE auction, the reserve is very reasonable and will be met.Collector owned. Collector has Street rods, frame off restored muscle cars, woody's, Mopar's, classic trucks, etc and this IS the cleanest of them all and got ALL of the attention.
