I have to start off by saying this car could simply not be any nicer. I could get very long-winded, but if you look at the SIXTY pictures below, you'll get a good idea of what i'm talking about. The 2000-2004 Outbacks are, in my opinion, the best outbacks made to date. 2004 is the last year for them. This outback also has the 3.0 Litre 6 cylinder engine which is absolutely bulletproof, especially when compared to the 4 cylinder engines. The tan leather seats are gorgeous. The leather shows nearly no wear at all, and smells FANTASTIC. The interior of the car smells like a leather shop. The car has zexel automatic climate control which works properly. The air conditioning works. This car has the premium 6-disc cd changer audio system (with subwoofer!) which sounds fantastic . For safety, this Subaru has, of course, dual front airbags, as well as side airbags. The cargo area is in beautiful condition. The owners manual booklet is there. This Outback also has ON*Star. This is a very rare option. The owners manuals are all there, and we have two keys and two remotes. The outside of this Outback is beautiful and is finished in the stunning and very pretty Regatta Red Pearl. I worked for Subaru during the time when these cars were new, and this was ALWAYS my favorite color on the outbacks. This color is really quite striking. The paint is in gorgeous shape. Overall the exterior of this Outback is in outstanding shape. The car has the HUGE dual sunroof which only came on the upper-level models. It works properly. There is absolutely no rust. I have included close up pictures of the common rust trouble spots on Outbacks. It also is loaded with Subaru accessories including the rear cargo mat, rear window deflector, hood deflector, and rear differentail skid plate (rare!). The tires are in great shape. They are the proper bridgestone tires that would have come from the factory. This car clearly has been looked after by a Subaru dealer. The brakes feel good with solid stops and no pulsation. The rear brakes and rotors look nearly new. The transmission shifts very nicely. All accessories have been tested and work. Including air conditioning, and cruise control. I have personally put over 300 miles on this car. It drives great. It's VERY smooth. If you have never driven a 6 Cylinder Outback, please stop by and drive this car. It is AMAZING.
