Just traded and up on the block is this real clean 1998 Land Rover Discovery LSE. The SUV is as loaded as one could find. The body and paint are in very good shape. The paint shines beautifully. There is one small dent on the hood, another on the left rear quarter and a few scratches on the passenger front door. Overall this Land Rover makes a great appearance. Mechanically, this SUV runs well. The motor runs good, and the transmission shifts fine. I tried to put it in 4x4 but I could not get it to engage. It has a small exhaust leak near the right manifold. It goes away in a few minutes. The left taillight has some chips around the edges and there is a little bubbling under the paint by the light. The brakes need a little attention. A new master cylinder was installed but I do not think it was bled properly. The pedal is a little low and I think it needs front pads. You can drive it but plan on paying attention to the brakes before you use it regularly. The radio needs the code, easily obtained by the dealer. The windshield has a 3/4" crack, looks more like a star. Lastly, it needs a right rear window regulator. I have a clear title , the books and and one key for this SUV. All in all, nothing really major, so if you are able to fix these issues yourself, YOU CAN HAVE ONE NICE RIDE AT A GREAT PRICE!!!!! Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
