Offering a 66 Fastback Mustang for sale. All the locals know to contact me about Mustang cars or parts. The last inspection sticker on this car is from 1991. It needs a total restoration and suffers from all the typical rust areas that all east coast cars get. If you need extra pictures just send me your email and I will pass them along. I took a bunch of pictures at work today and am trying to highlight all the worst sections. Keep in mind that I have not done a thorough assessment, I just know where the problem zones are. The only really decent sheetmetal is the front fenders, front valances and hood. The doors are rusted down low, the rear quarters will need patches or replacement, inner/ wheelhouses, all floors including trunk floors, rear sections of both rear frame rails, patches to both front inner frame rail extensions (worst one under battery), shock tower on passenger is cracked and rusted at bottom. Inner fenders actually look ok with the exception of under the battery area. I would also replace both front floor pan extensions as they are swelling and rotten on the inside. Car originally was a C code 2 barrel and 3 speed manual. It currently has a 4v intake and 4 speed toploader trans. Open 8 inch rear differential. Hurst shifter also. Complete fold down rear seat, rare optional 8 track am stereo, the pictures should describe the rest. I have restored far worse than this. Winner of the auction can purchase separately 2 repop doors that I just removed from my 66 Shelby, I also have an all fiberglass hood from the same car that is for sale. Glass is decent, front windshield has been replaced, door glass is good, stainless is all there some small dings when front glass was replaced. I peeked under the dash and the cowl seems like it might actually still be sound, I couldn't see any daylight. Date on block is 5G, didn't pull a valve cover but I will if time allows. Currently car will be sold with bill of sale only, title will supposed to be available in a few weeks but I'll believe that when I see it.
