1953 Willys Jeep CJ3a with the original 4 cylinder go-devil engine. The restoration as started 5 or 6 years ago, and the jeep ran perfectly at that time. No internal work was done on the engine, except for a new head gasket. The distributor was removed and would need to be adjusted for firing. The engine turns over fine, but wont fire without adjusting the distributor, which I have not done, but the jeep ran fine. New exhaust is installed on the engine, frame has been sanded, painted, and rubber undercoated, and the axles have been sanded and painted as well. All gears look good, frame is straight, no rust at all, one small weld has cracked on the front crossmember, but can be easily re-welded. What you see is what you get, the Jeep is sold as isTires are good condition, they appear to be original, and have some drying visible, but have been sitting for 2 years and I have never put air in them. There is no body. I will not be able to sell individual parts off the jeep. I do have 2 used seat frames that are available as well as an original grille, but are NOT included in auction. I also have tons of parts, buyer has option to purchase separately if he so chooses. This Jeep has a clear Florida Title that I will include. I do have the original firewall tag with the vin number somewhere but I can't locate it at the moment. Buyer will receive it if/when I find it.
