Vehicle Detail
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the pubilc. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by eliminating most of the overhead expenses that the bigger dealers pass down to you. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I drive it personally so that I can tell you exactly how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this car based completely on my time spent driving the car and my observations about it. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic and, therefore, am not qualified to make any statements other than my observations. Any vehicle in my inventory is available for inspection by you or your mechanic prior to bidding. Just email me to set a time to meet at my warehouse. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All cars are sold wholesale direct. Unless otherwise stated, no vehicle is serviced or reconditioned. You are buying exactly how they come through dealer auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a great looking 1994 Chrysler LeBaron GTC convertible. This one is finished in a beautifull plum exterior with tan leather interior, tan soft top and 16" gold alloy wheels to accent this cars stand out look. Overall, the body of this LeBaron is in great shape for the year. There is some minor fading on some of the plastic pieces. There are no major dents, scratches or rust that I could find. Just look at the photos! This is a great looking car! The finish on the wheels is in great condition and the tires have plenty of rubber on them. The soft top is in average condition. As you can see from the photos, the stitching on the edge seem has come loose. I believe this is more cosmetic than anything but doesn't look the best. Otherwise, the top isn't in bad shape. All of the glass is in tact, too. I believe this car has been reasonably well cared for. In the trunk, I found the original soft boot for the convertible top and a car cover with bag. Both will be included with the auction. The interior of this car is definiely below average. Of course, the back seats look like they were never sat in but the fronts could use some help. The drivers seat show the worst wear as you can clearly see. The passenger seat isn't really bad except for a line of stitching that has come apart on the seat cushion. The carpets and liner to the top are in reasonably good condition. A full set of owners books including original factory touch up paint is in the glove compartment. The factory Infinity CD stereo sounds fine. The climate control works as it should and the air conditioning is ice cold! The left rear window seems to be off its track and the front left window stops about a half inch short of closing completely. I have no idea what would cause that. Perhaps the regulator is out of position making it stop short. The power top goes up and down on its own. The power drivers seat works as it should, except the lumbar button on the side of the seat is broken. Mechanically, this car seems to be in good condition. The 3.0L engine starts right up and runs well. I didn't see evidence of any leaks present under where the car is parked. This LeBaron still has not even broken the 80,000 mile mark! Driving this convertible is a pleasure. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension and steering are very tight. The brakes stop the car very well with no noise or vibration in the pedal. At highway speeds, she is as solid as a rock. There is not any pulling in the front end and there is no shaking...even at 90mph. During my test drive, the engine held normal temperature and excellent oil pressure. There were no warning lights on. I stopped at a gas station for a drink and left her run while I was inside. When I came out, I noticed the temperature gauge was higher than center (about 2/3 up). As soon as I got out on the road, it dropped down to below center and stayed there. I don't really know these cars well enough to know if that means anything or not. Some cars (Mercedes, VW,ect...) tend to run warmer at idle or low speeds...that's just how they are. I don't know these cars that well. I figured I'd include that in my description in case it's not normal. There could be a potential issue there. I will admit, I did not check the coolant level. It may need topped off...I don't know. I just call 'em like I see 'em. All in all, not a bad little car. I drove this car to a lunch engagement I had (which I was late as usual) and kept her wound up around 90mph and she didn't skip a beat. It drove very well at that speed and clearly had more to give. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts like it should. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
