Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by eliminating most of the overhead expenses that the bigger dealers pass down to you. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I drive it myself so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this car based completely on my time spent driving it and my own observations. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic, therefore I am not qualified to make any statements about the condition of any vehicle other than my observations. Any vehicle in my inventory is available for inspection by you or your mechanic prior to bidding. Just email me to set a time to meet me at my warehouse. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All of my auctions are wholesale direct. Unless otherwise stated, I do not service or recondition any vehicle. Vehicles are sold exactly how they come through dealer auction unless I feel they are unsafe to be driven. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is quite a treat! The Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet is a very sought after vehicle. Because this Cabriolet model was only produced in 1994 and 1995 in limited numbers, they are sure to appreciate in value as they are on their way to becoming an iconic collectible. The pedigree is there for these cars to become extremely valuable in the future. They have a very limited production and carried a very high sticker price which made them very exclusive vehicles. This example is a 1994 finished in Spruce Green over tan leather with a black soft top. Walking around the exterior of this Mercedes, you will see that the body is in remarkable condition for a car that has been driven. There are no major scratches that I could find anywhere. I did not see any rust. There are a few small dents on the back of the car around the left tail light. I took photos but they are very hard to see in the pictures. All of the glass is in tact including the light lenses. The tires are a matching set and have good tread left. The soft top has a snag or two on the passengers side but they are minor to make an overstatement. I doubt you will even notice them in the photos. Overall this is a great looking car. I am grading this as a typical 15 y/o vehicle because of the miles. I hesitate to buy cars like this because some people expect perfection and want to white glove the car when they come pick it up. This is not a Ferrari, this is not a Lamborghini, this is not a Shelby Mustang. Please be realistic with your expectations. This is a used Mercedes that has been driven regularly. Although the body is very nice, I promise it's not perfect. The interior of this car has seen the most wear. The worst is the drivers seat. It is showing significant wear as you can see. I don't think that the existing leather is able to be saved. The seat would either need to be re-upholstered or maybe a nice set of sheep skins would make the interior acceptable. The front passengers seat shows some wear as well as you can see from the photos. The rear seats are in great condition. All of the comfort features work as they should. The windows, seats and mirrors work as they should. The front seats are heated, too. The power top works as it should (the plastic piece of the switch is missing but it works fine) and its headliner is in good condition. The factory stereo system sounds good. The climate control works perfectly and the air conditioning is very cold. The retracting rear headrests work as they should. The retracting seatbelt guides both work without issue. The original antenna works fine. The original Mercedes wind screen is included, too. A nice set of wool seat covers or a trip to your local upholstery shop (depending on your preference) would make the interior of this Mercedes great again. A full set of books come with the car with service records filled in up to about 70,000 miles. Mechanically, this E320 is in great condition. The famous 3.2L inline six starts right up and runs smoothly. I have driven this car several times and it behaves very well. The oil pressure is excellent and the engine temperature stays where it should. I have seen no warning lights. On the open road, this car is a pleasure to drive. The suspension and steering are both nice and tight. The brakes stop the car well and without any noise or vibration. At highway speeds, she drives very well. These are wonderfull cars from a time when a these cars were made to a standard, not a price point and a Mercedes was a Mercedes...not a Chrysler. Anyone who has driven an older Mercedes and a newer Mercedes knows exactly what I am talking about. They just "feel" different. Carrying a sticker price of around $70,000 (back in 94), these cars were expensive and never apologized for it. This one has a new PA inspection that is good through April of 2012. I love the E cars because they carried the signature engineering of a Mercedes-Benz but without all the maintainence expense of the "everything hydraulic" S and SL cars. Simplicity is what made German cars great. I think they lost something once they got away from that philosophy in engineering...but that's just me. It's nice to get a future classic like this that has some miles on her already. That way the value of the car isn't in the miles, it's in the car itself and you can drive it without your conscience telling you that you are devaluing your baby every time you drive it. I've owned super low mile cars and they really aren't fun because you can't drive for fear of putting too many miles on it. Thank you for taking the time to look at this auction. Remember, this car will be sold to the highest bidder...no reserve...no games.
