Here is an opportunity to own one of America’s true sport cars at a fraction of retail cost. This vehicle will cost you $24,000.00 at a dealer so keep that in mind and buy this vette at thousands less. Description This car comes with everything you would expect from the Corvette, power locks, am/fm stereo, Bose sound system, 5.7L SFI V8 – 350HP with a 4 speed automatic with overdrive transmission. and much much more. Exterior is Speedway White and the interior is light oak leather. It also has the Targa top which makes it feel like a convertible but without the worry of the top tearing. Oil change, new battery and four new tires installed April of 2010. According to CarFax, we are the third owners of this fine vehicle and haven’t had any problems with it. It only has 41452 miles! Runs like you’d expect a Corvette to run! This vehicle is being sold as is - where is, with no warranty expressed, written or implied by me. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. I will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Although this vehicle is in good condition for the age and miles, please expect minor wear as you would on any pre-owned vehicle. I am merely reminding you that in most cases these will be present on any pre-owned vehicle. This is not a new car and should not be expected as such. It is however in good condition, take a good look at the pictures and feel free to e-mail me with any specific questions or concerns Reason for Selling The reason we are selling the car is simple, we have 4 other cars and a motorcycle and the ‘vette just doesn’t get used like it should, so our loss is your gain. The bad. The stock chrome wheels are starting to peel, that’s all that I can find. Terms of sale. Please read very carefully so there is no misunderstanding. A $250.00 NON-Refundable deposit by PayPal must be made within 24 hours after the auction ends, no deposit, no sale. I hate to do this but I have to. The balance of the money owed must be paid at the time of pick up which must be within seven days unless other arrangements have been made. Only cash or a certified check from a bank will be accepted. Please don’t ask if we will accept PayPal or any other method of payment for the balance. Please understand that like most people we purchased the vehicle from a dealership and financed it with a local bank and we do owe a balance, so the bank has a lien on the vehicle. What I have done in the past is, you pay me for the vehicle, I sign over the title, provide you with a bill of sale and give you the car and title. I then pay off the vehicle and the bank issues a lien release form which I will next day mail to you as soon as I get it. This has taken up to 10 business days to complete in the past but according to the bank it should take 1 business day to process which the check clears. This is not illegal to do but if you have a problem with this, don’t bid and don’t ask to change the procedure. Also, the bank is located in Delaware, I live and the car is in Maryland so I either have to do the paperwork and payment via the US mail or travel to Delaware. To clear up a few of the previous problems and help make this sale go smoothly, here are some items. No you can’t make the check directly to the bank for the balance. No you can’t make two checks, one for me the other for the bank. No I won’t accept a personal check. No I won’t disclose how much I owe to the bank Yes I would be willing to meet you at branch of the bank and then travel to where the vehicle is. Feed Back. If you have negative feedback in the past 6 months or no feedback please contact me before bidding or else I will remove your bid. Because of the last non paying buyer, I probably will have negative feed back. Please feel free to ask any questions you have, I have nothing to hide and everything is well documented. Pick up and Delivery Again please read carefully so there is no misunderstanding. I will not deliver or ship but will help with your arrangements in any way I can. The vehicle is in my garage on Maryland’s eastern shore near Ocean City Maryland, zip code 21811. If you want to pick it up there that would be fine, if you want me to bring back to my home near Annapolis, zip code 21114 that too would be fine but understand the mileage would be slightly higher. Either way is acceptable to me, but prior arrangements need to be made. Bidding Please don’t bid if you do not intend to buy.
